I normally visit a place a few times before I write one of these, but I was compelled after the experience I had. Heard a lot of good things about this spot from friends, so we picked it as our spot for a birthday dinner with family. Had a reservation and got right in. Staff was very friendly from the start.
We sat down and ordered some drinks and appetizers. Three of us had Bloody Mary's and none of us cared for them. If you like them very watery and thin you might like them, they weren't for us. Had some of the "smoked" wings and they were okay, but I really don't think they were smoked. Not an ounce of smoke flavor and quite crunchy, which is a good thing, but ate very much like a deep fried wing. I feel it's important to add here that the staff was still amazing.
The entrees came next and out of seven of us there was one mistake and my wife received the wrong dish. They took it back and made it right, but she had to eat a little after the rest of us. When she did receive her dish (Miso Salmon) it was very good. I had the "smoked" ribeye. This unfortunately was NOT good. I ordered medium rare. I'm not sure how they did this but half of it was rare and the other half medium. I don't mind a steak on the rare side so I went ahead at ate it, once again no smoke flavor and the sear was a bit too much, very tough to get through. Potatoes and asparagus were okay. The real problem came almost immediately after when I began to have major stomach aches. There was definitely something that did not agree with me, and I spent the rest of the evening in a very uncomfortable state. I might give them another chance down the road a bit, but only because the service was excellent. Hats off to the staff, they are what kept this night out from being a total bust for me. I hope the next time I visit it goes a bit better. Our community needs more restaurants...
Read moreI normally don’t share reviews but the experience I had today was completely unacceptable and disappointing. Our waitress was named Andrea today and she was very rude. To begin we were treated very nicely when going in the restaurant. But the waiter Andrea was very rude and unwelcoming. We were there to celebrate a graduation brunch and she completely ruined our day by being rude and answering questions we had very sarcastically in a rude way. We were very disappointed as today was supposed to be a happy day for us. The food was great but the waiter Andrea was very rude and I don’t thinks she respects minorities at all. Please get better waiters who respect everyone because nobody deserves the terrible service we experienced.
I just wanted to add that my sister is also pregnant and we had 4 kids with us. The service that we received today was just completely unacceptable. I have found my sister to be very distraught from the service we received today. If you’re going to own a restaurant then hire waiters who respect all people including minorities, not just a certain group of people. We noticed the waiter at the other table laughing with customers that were seated next to us and we received the complete opposite experience.
I also wanted to add how I just simply asked the waiter for a high chair because I didn’t know they brought it and she gave me the rudest response by looking at me as if I was not a human being and had a nasty attitude. Mind you this was not the only rude attitude she had during our time here. If this restaurant does not do anything I have a large platform and I plan to share my experience on social media so others don’t have to experience...
Read moreWe had the most awful service in my entire life. Walked in and waited 10 minutes to even be acknowledged, and during that time, two other couples walked in and were seated FIRST! When we finally asked the host why the two couples were seated before us even though they came in after us, she started crying… no joke. Cried and walked away, leaving us stranded at the host desk yet again. Finally got seated outside. We ordered two bloody mary’s and they were given to an older couple sitting at a table beside us. The older gentleman even told the waitress they did not order bloody mary’s, and the waitress just said “Oops! That’s fine! Enjoy them!”… leaving us waiting another 10 minutes for them to remake our bloody mary’s. We were at this restaurant for over 2 hours because of how slow the service was, and within this time, 4 tables got the wrong order. Plates were constantly getting switched from one table to the next- and when I finally got my french toast that I waited 38 minutes for (from order time to it reaching my table).. it was the wrong french toast and they were room temperature at best. The shredded cheese on our omelet wasn’t even melted, to show how cold the food was. They weren’t even trying to give us bare minimum service. This places needs new management. My first time here and...
