EDIT: Owner offered to refund coffee and explained the scenario. He's trying to bring single origin and very hard to source. I sympathize and added a star, but unfortunately that doesn't explain the rest of the experience. Hopefully some of these details can be addressed. The atmosphere, decor and huge windows and pillows in the windows, give it lots of potential and I could see sitting here and writing or reading and really enjoying it. :) Staff seems cold and unfriendly.
Coffee cold as soon as cream added. Claimed they could resteam it which may be a new rule in the industry since I was a barista but they should be able to put in steaming caraffe, steam quickly, then pour back into cup. Cups are warmed but apparently insufficiently.
Do not offer any dark roast at all. So you are stuck with acidic or acidic. This is pretty inconsiderate. Not all of us are of the opinion that any bean not caramel colored is "over roasted". 😶 I get that this is the industry morè right now but is it realllly that hard to offer the option? Go to valley natural foods and try the midnight sun or love buzz. Tastes like heaven, dark black greasy beans, ultra fresh. Well rounded and no acidity or fruitiness.
Atmosphere is 4/5.
Came here to treat a family member per their request, they were happy except for the cold coffee.
Wouldn't recommend.
But would suggest the staff or admin consider the details and more about what the customer may want rather than trying to be trendy in the industry, if that is the motive for the circumstances. Really want to...
Read moreI was delighted to step into Tapestry Coffee and find that this coffee roaster company offers a nice variety of blends and single origin coffees. I’m not one for coffee subscriptions – but it is a nice option.
Its Google Business Listing says it offers a menu of sandwiches & salads – but I didn’t see any on the menu. It’s basically a breakfast place that offers muffins, toast options, croissants and bagels. They have good oatmeal options. Breakfast is served all day, meaning up until they close at 2 PM.
Out of Savory Toast, Cinnamon Sugar Toast, and Avocado Toast, the avocado variety is my favorite. It comes with a nice helping of pickled onions and their own chimichurri sauce. The flavors complement each other well.
When it comes to bagel breakfast sandwiches, I like that you can build your own. For example, you can go with egg or no egg. My latte was excellent. It's atmosphere is inviting and ideal for sharing breakfast and a conversation with others. The rich, black countertop in the bar-like area is very nice. You can also buy your coffee beans here to go home and brew your own. I like the wall tapestry (painting of "Ocean Waves"), which can be ordered in various sizes. It ties in the brand name.
This coffee shop is located at 20788 Holyoke Ave, Lakeville, MN 55044 right on the corner. It’s a handy stopping point for me on the route to several of my favorite places. Parking is ample right alongside the outdoor patio...

Although I realize I got a discounted coffee, without any choice in the matter (I would happily pay full price); your patrons need to be given an option to stay off TV when you have Fox news doing a morning show in your shop. I was meeting someone to discuss business and I asked how I can stay off the news when I ordered but wasn't given any helpful answer. Even though I tried to stay out of the way they still seemed to cover the entire shop with their news interviews. Keep them in one area. Being filmed onto live TV without consent is quite disrespectful...
