I had created my engagement ring and not knowing any better my husband and I decided to have a big name jeweler create it for us.

Fast forward to when I had it appraised for an insurance policy and I was told the center diamond, one of the pear shaped diamonds and heart shaped diamonds were not mounted correctly and already loose.

Unfortunately, I lost a pearl and a pear shaped diamond and the big name jeweler would not insure it. They would have to ship it off to corporate to have it fixed and it would take a month and a half before I would get it back. So I decided to shop around and a friend had referred me to Harrison Jewelers.

I am forever grateful for this referral! Not only did they replace my pearl and pear shaped diamond that was lost, they also adjusted all the loose pronges so I wouldn't loose any more expensive diamonds and it was polished so well it looked more sparkly than when my husband proposed. They got it all done in less than a month for the same price the big name jeweler quoted and they are local, so I was able to pick it up right away. They also suggested I get a band for the other side to keep the pear shaped diamonds in place. That was never a thought with the big name jeweler.

My husband wanted to take family heirlooms pieces somewhere trustworthy to get custom rings made for me. First off, I didn't even know exactly what I wanted, but I did know I needed a wider band on the ring and I like simple designs. Nick impressed me with a quick drawing and basically understood the assignment, including some hand engraving on the band that reflected the swirling design of the old brooch that we brought in. Within a week I was back at the store trying on the moulds and flinging the stones everywhere (not on purpose, I was just too excited). Nick and the store manager Sandra were very personable and easy to work with. Then, I anxiously awaited the call saying the rings were ready.

To my delight, the rings fit perfectly and I cannot be more happy with the final outcome. Nick's attention to detail and expertise in craftsmanship really shines and he even accepted a challenge I gave him. It's hard to put into words how much this means to both me and my husband. It had been a long time coming for us and we are so glad we took our business here. Within 3 weeks or so, we had the rings custom made from a paper drawing to real gold, diamonds, and sapphires (oh my!) I'm super thrilled and highly recommended...

He far exceeded our expectations! He was attentive to our requests and helped us create a new design that felt like my own while still tying in some elements from the original. It was a lot of fun too, being able to sit at his desk and watch him toy with different design elements on a screen for me to see whether or not I liked each idea. We felt it was appropriately priced as well. We live out of the country and had to give him a date we needed it by before leaving the states again and he was happy to oblige.
