We visited over a year ago and had a great experience. Tonight was a completely different story. We arrived tonight at 6:50PM for the prime rib. We waited at least 20 min for a table. The host pointed at our table and led us there half the way (not a proper seating). Waitress eventually came (maybe 10 min wait). While we were ordering, the host was calling my cell letting me know my table was ready although I was already seated. We ordered our food and drinks at 6:20. I had to go to the bar at around 7 because our drinks still hadn't arrived! I was informed by our server (who was also making drinks) that they were out of clean glasses. We eventually received our drinks and by 7:30, I asked where our appetizer and entree were...waitress said they would come out soon. By 8, I asked for our food to be cancelled since I still hadn't even received the appetizer. Manager came out to say he can bring food within few minutes if I were willing to wait...so we did. 16oz prime rib arrived (with a dinner knife, no steak knife - was not fun sawing into my fatty steak tonight) and it looked fantastic but half of it was fatty and not worth the price-point. Wings were comped. After spending over 3 hours here, we will NOT be returning. Such a beautiful patio, great location but this place needs better service, better cooks (restaurant was filled with smoke when we arrived, I was also informed cook cut himself in the kitchen) and better management, better host. Too many people playing multiple roles, caused an unorganized mess tonight. Super disappointed.
Edit: just looked at my receipt and the "ordered time" is 7:25 - probably was rung in wrong. Happy to show manager the receipt (shows closeout time of 9:12PM) and time host called my cell if you want proof of this insane amount of...

Read moreI’m not quite sure what happened tonight. One month ago we visited this restaurant and couldn’t wait to return. As a local business owner, my family loves to support other local businesses.
Tonight....I’m not sure my family will ever go back. The service was not good (I will say we didn’t have the same waiter we had last time, he was great). Our Waitress was essentially non-attentive, I mean I had to go in and ask for the check. The food took almost 45 minutes to arrive. We started with the fried cornbread which was to die for last visit. Tonight it was like eating chunks of rocks. Overcooked and tasteless and the size of the pieces was much different than last time, way too small.
We ordered an Asian chopped salad with chicken ($17 total and it was like a $4 salad from Applebee’s!) The pineapple came out of a can, although they claimed it was real, the lettuce was bad and simply put it should not be called what it is called. The Brussels sprouts were basically flakes and nothing ‘meaty’ about them.
We’ve never left as much food on a table as we did tonight. Also, and this is only for mention, but they allow smoking on the outdoor patio. I wasn’t sure if this was allowed so I’m only making mention of it. It was rather putrid as they were sitting upwind from us in front of one of the fans on the perimeter of the patio.
I hate to leave negative reviews but if the owners weren’t there they need to be aware of this experience. I won’t say don’t give them a shot, just be aware it may not live up to what you...
