Lakeway absolutely needed Mornin' Glory! May this place continue to be as awesome as it is and has been! This was my 2nd time here. Going on a Sunday, I knew to do my best to avoid the big rush with my elderly mom (it gets loud), so we arrived early. We were ecstatic to get a table in the front right area where it's a bit quieter. Service was really good both times. Both times, we did have to wait a bit for our check. Food & drinks: Outstanding! Pics of our meals: Pulled Pork Eggs Benedict (freshly-squeezed orange juice in the background) Chicken and Waffles + Chia Berry Smoothie Breakfast tacos (no potatoes was requested)
Pulled pork eggs Benedict: BBQ sauce is quite sweet. Flavor palate was a bit "off," however it was delicious - I ate every bite. Chicken and Waffles: unique and quite lovely, definitely an upscale version of the dish. Breakfast tacos: full and hearty, good size. Interesting: 1st time mom ordered this, there seemed to be a disproportionate amount of potatoes (she doesn't really like potatoes). When she chose the tacos again, I suggested she order it without potatoes: Ooo, she was in heaven! Do understand, she's not a big potato eater, so this isn't intended to reflect negatively. Bottom line: GO! You'll be so happy you did, and you'll likely be thinking about when you're going...

Unfortunately there were several misfires and only one hit.
We got the eggs your way, the breakfast burrito, and the dulce de leche French toast.
I added mushrooms to the eggs (pictured) and got pancakes instead of toast. The waitress didn't tell me the pancakes were silver dollar size, so that was a bummer, but they were the only really good thing.
The tomatoes on the eggs were not ripe and were very chewy and tasteless, which was disappointing because others had said they were lovely. The mushrooms I'm not sure who taught the chef to cook mushrooms but they were ghastly, really abysmally soggy and rubbery.
The biggest disappointment was definitely the French toast however. We had a few bites and it was so bland, there was no dulce de leche on there, the blob you see pictured is just cinnamon butter! After the pancakes I was really expecting something special!
We told the waitress it wasn't good and asked her to take it back and she just said sorry, but they didn't take it off the bill or offer us anything else, which I suppose is their prerogative, but we certainly won't be back.
Save yourself the drive to this place, they do not live up...

Their pancakes are hands down the best I've had in a while. 🥞 They were fluffy, flavorful, and simply irresistible! 🤤 The lattes were top-notch as well, perfectly brewed and so satisfying. ☕️ The breakfast sandwich we ordered was a flavor bomb, packed with amazing ingredients. 🍳🥪 Everything tasted like it was straight out of a gourmet kitchen, and you could just tell how fresh the ingredients were. 🌿
The ambiance of Morning Glory was also really pleasant and inviting. 🌼 The staff was friendly and attentive, and the whole experience made us feel so comfortable. 😊 It's definitely a place where you can kick back, relax, and enjoy a delicious breakfast. The prices were reasonable too, considering the quality and portion sizes. 💰
