UTea Kitchen — Restaurant in Lakeway

Two visits, first time the food was decent service was very minimal I'll take that as a fluke maybe caught them on a bad day. Second visit June 28th, service was even worse than before. You have three high school kids sitting around at the front counter while you're water glass has been empty for 15 minutes so coming over to ask if I needed a check or to go box and literally had to ask him for more water that was at the edge of the table. Too many restaurants around here especially 3 Doors Down to put up with this.

The food, I had the one bowl away last time it was decent but not stellar and then this time I had this shaken beef which was okay came with a nice side palette of egg drop soup which was okay.

Y'all need some adult managers on this site if you want to see Improvement on the place.

I recently visited UTea Kitchen in Lakeway on 620, and I have to say, it’s a great spot for Pho lovers! Right from the start, the staff was so friendly and welcoming, which set a great tone for the meal. The food was absolutely delicious, and I was surprised to find they offer some dim sum-style appetizers—such a fun addition to the menu!

Before opening the restaurant, they were a bakery, and their pastry skills really shine through in their cream puffs. Do yourself a favor and try them! No liquor license yet. The bar is pointless but beautiful. I enjoyed the atmosphere and dining area but that's about it. The food was small portioned and over priced. The hot and sour soup wasn't hot or sour. Tasted like a black bean broth. Entree- Singapore Noodles were spicy but very dry and difficult. Servers are all Lakeway kids still learning the menu but I can't hold that against the company. Welcome to Lakeway. Boba tea was good. This would be a good alternative to the Starbucks and the juiceland in the same 2 minute area. Maybe a good nightcap when they get their liquor license? I cannot recommend...
