I have to say, I was pretty disappointed with my experience there. First off, when I walked in, I wasn't greeted, no hello, or welcome in or anything like that, it took a while before someone actually said can I help you find something. Also I've been in there a couple of times and I hate to say it, but the whole vibe just felt stuck up. When I had questions about things, the employees weren't really much help and just kinda gave short answers as if the were annoyed at having to answer any questions. I have not met the owner yet, but I will say that it's frustrating that he hasn't given his employees the ability to purchase items or do trades, or negotiate prices, and everytime I've been there trying to negotiate or sell something I hit a dead end because the employees apparently can't do any of that type of business, only the owner can, and they can never seem to tell me when he is going to be in the store. Also they hardly ever answer their phone, which is very inconvenient because I don't live close to the store at all. Which means I can't call ahead of time to make sure the owner will be there. I've collected comics for 5 decades. This is EXACTLY the kind of shop I love best. Incredible new comic selection, nothing felt overpriced, it's clean, friendly, and well organized. The shop is new and still getting put together but it's my new go-to store in Denver after one visit. All it needs is to be fully set up and have a good back issue stock.
