When I travel, the one place I love to visit is glass fusing & glass blowing locally owned businesses. The furnace doesn't disappoint at all. The staff and artists are warm along with welcoming as soon as you enter the studio. It was so nice for them to show us the furnace area where classes were going on, along with artists working so fantastic to see in person. The store front is filled with so many treasures from all their artists. I could literally go in debt if I bought all the treasures I found there today. There are so many talented artists, and I've never found this much inventory in any of the places I visited at the furnace. Let's see, we bought glasses, jewelry (earrings, necklaces), and my prized piece by Cory The Girl Dancer. Also, I learned you can special order a piece with the design preferred by me from said artist. The sizzler and kaleidoscope were fabulous pieces, and I just would like a different design. Can't wait to talk with the artist to have one of her pieces created for me. Their classes look so fun, and I wish I could be around to take them all only I'm visiting. You need to check their classes out. The price is so darn reasonable to give as a gift or take with friends, and you keep the pieces you create. I will definitely plan a class next year when I come back for my vacation. Big Shout Out to the staff along with Artists! Cory, nice meeting you along with a big thank you for my Girl Dancer piece she's gorgeous. I'll reach out to you soon on a design for another art piece of yours. People, if you live near this place, get off your butts and support your local artist along with the business guarantee you'll Love...

We recently hosted a team-building event at The Furnace: a glassworks + gallery to celebrate the 25th anniversary of my father’s company, and the experience was absolutely fantastic!

From the start, scheduling and coordination was super easy. The team at The Furnace was incredibly responsive and made the planning process simple. The pricing was very reasonable for our group of 20, and we were able to reserve the space privately—which made the event feel extra special.

One of the highlights was being able to bring in our own catering and drinks. There was plenty of space to set everything up, and the layout of the venue allowed guests to comfortably mingle while waiting for their turn to make an ornament.

The entire team had a blast, largely thanks to Corey, who made the experience unforgettable. As engineers, everyone was especially excited to dive into the glassblowing process, and Corey’s guidance brought it all to life. He was incredibly helpful, patient, and attentive, answering every question and working with each person based on their comfort and skill level. His calm, knowledgeable approach made everyone feel confident and engaged, and the group was thrilled to see their ornaments the next day.

Overall, we’re so grateful to Corey and his whole team for making this milestone celebration so memorable. It's a 10/10 and would highly recommend for anyone looking for a creative, engaging, and well-run...

WOAH! My girlfriend bought us a private class for my birthday! Shout out to her! Neither of us had ever done any sort of glass blowing before. We had a two hour class with Max, he was fantastic, and he gave us a few demos so we could see what we were doing and then threw us right in. We never felt unsafe or uncomfortable, not only because he was there to help the entire time, but also because he is such a great teacher. We each got to make two pieces of our own! We both got to watch each other make pieces and the entire experience was such a joy. We had a blast! It is the best birthday present I have ever received!

Max made sure we both had a great time, could ask questions, but he made sure we both got a solid experience of what glass blowing is, how to do it, and enjoy it as well. It is clear he loves this stuff and is meant to teach others and share his passion with others!

Thank you "The Furnace" and...

I had booked an "Experience Glass" class for my husband and I in October, and before going, we also booked the ornament making class to do on Black Friday. Both classes were fun, but this review is specifically regarding the ornament making class. Nicole was AMAZING! She is so enthusiastic and upbeat. Her smile is infectious, and her knowledge is extensive. We were able to do quite a bit of our ornament creations, and Nicole was there with instruction and a helping hand at every turn. She was even able to fix an error I had made when knocking my ornament off the pipe. For both visits, we opted to have our glass pieces mailed to us. We haven't received our ornaments yet, but our first pieces arrived undamaged. If you are looking for something fun, creative, and original to do, don't hesitate to try The Furnace!
