Lakewood Grill — Restaurant in Lakewood

We came in to take a shot of tequila and upon walking up to the bar I didn’t know what I wanted to order and so I said I don’t know what I want all the wild. The waitress is giving me a dirty look.. My boyfriend went to the bar and placed the order of french fries which came and they brought two small cups of ranch. So I asked if I could get some ketchup waitress/bartender/janitor.. Looks over her shoulder and says yes sure as she squats down to the table next to me and have a conversation with the customers. She comes back a few minutes later with two small cups of ketchup mind you this is a large basket of french fries, I then asked for some more touchup and she told me when you’re done. I will bring you some. I need to move onto the next order.. I mean, literally told me I needed to wait until I was done before she would serve me again. Anyhow, I live down the street and this is my first time after establishment. I probably will not come back. And these women probably are not getting a tip or a very small one at that....

I went to Lakewood to get a pet fixed and stayed all day. I asked at Spay Today for a good place to eat lunch alone. One gal said "Lakewood Grill". She explained that she eats there all the time because of there good food and proximity to Spay Today. I will admit going into a bar alone isn't high on my list. Well I put on, as they say, my big girl pants and went in. One server explained that food is also served at the bar. So I sat at the bar. The bartender came right over, not only introduced herself, but made me so comfortable, their, food was great. I had the fish and chips and it was done to perfection. The bartender gave me a punch card so if my memory serves me right I think the eighth meal is free. It is within walking distance of Spay Today, there parking isn't the best but not bad after one pm. Horrible service went for lunch and it was relatively dead, which was a plus for me cause I had my 5 year old with me, I thought fast service. Wrong. We sat down and waited for 7 minutes as tgebar tender flirted with the men at the bar, refusing to acknowledge us. Then a group of white men walked in and 2 female servers finally came from out back. One girl finally gave us a menu and silverware and said the other girl would help us soon. She left, took drink orders for the gentlemen that just walked in and the other girl helped a table that had been waiting to pay then disappeared to the back again.
