Sep 15, 2018 Today I shopped at the Music&Arts in Lakewood and a man called Tymmothy Holland helped me. I can't say enough about this guy; his greeting felt like he was waiting for me with my order, he was very knowledgeable, extremely musically inclined, patient with all my questions, even though the store was busy I felt as if I was very important to him, he was great with my kids, he saw I was a struggling father and informed me of discounts -on the things I wanted- that I wasn't aware of, he went well beyond "selling" the products - he sold himself, the right way, with kindness, fairness, attention to detail, patience, and most of all the kind of customer service that you rarely see anymore. The kind that I give at my jobs. The kind that was a great example for my children. The kind that should Not be overlooked or taken for granted. If I ever buy music related products, they will be from Tymmothy Holland at the Music and Arts store in the Lakewood Towne Center. Ted Brown costs...

I finally got tired of being snubbed by the jerks at GC and started going to Music Center in lakewood and I now make this my first stop when buying musical supplies. The owner is truly passionate about music and it shows. I can come in here pick up the stuff I need at a better price than GC and actually have a conversation with the staff instead of feeling like I am at a used car lot. They help you find the right instruments and supplies for your needs and don't just try to sell you the most expensive items they have. This store is smaller than some other major music stores but I have never had a problem finding exactly what I was looking for and I have literally never paid the sticker price. I wish all stores were run like this one is and I will not be going anywhere else...

I found this place by accident while driving down the road. I had been wanting to start learning about music for a long time, but continuously made excuses. I stopped here and looked around for a few minutes. My first time I did not purchase anything, though the staff did not care they were happy to talk with me about my ambitions. My second visit was made with an intent to get the equipment I needed to start my musical adventure. They had everything I needed to get started within a reasonable price range.
