I gave this restaurant a chance on two separate occasions, finding it sub par at best on both occasions. In terms of food, speed, and staff this left a lot to be desired. On my first order a few months ago, ordering online for takeout, after arriving at the designated time I waited an extra 50 minutes in the parking lot for my food. Completely unable to get ahold of any staff on either of the phone lines provided to me. When I finally received that order, almost every item was cold and definitely not worth the time waiting, along with very rude staff that brought it out to me, I was disappointed. On this occasion after finally getting ahold of a manager they refunded the meal and I went about my life. Now on this second occasion after month between an order, I found myself in the exact same position. Waiting outside way past the designated time for a meal that once again arrived cold, and underwhelming with immense communication issues and faults to the food. On this occasion I had to call for 3 days before ever getting ahold of a manager. Being told they'll call me back, or that they were in a meeting and would get back to me. Once I finally pestered them enough to hear from someone they made a very bad attempt to make it right, instead of handling it well like the manager months prior they apologized, said that they can only do so much on online take out orders and suggested I eat in next time. After some more explaining of the situation they said they wanted to make it right and send me something as an apology for the terrible service and food. After waiting weeks to get it thinking it would of course be a gift card so I could go in this time and have a proper meal with the actual speed and quality that I thought I paid for the first time, I was extremely disappointed to find that they had sent me a 30 dollar gift card, not even approaching half of the original order cost. The original meal for me an my partner was around 80 and was for a very special occasion. Not like it mattered to who I spoke to. Long story short. Don't order from them online unless you want a sub par meal and...
Read moreYou know I actually did not eat at this restaurant there is a electrical outlet that is on the stairs leading up to the Red robins that you can plug a toaster into. now you're thinking why the heck would I want to do that. well if you live in on the streets or maybe yeah just you know if you're living on the streets you don't have access to electrical outlets that you can stick toasters into You know they guard them regard the electrical outlets cuz they don't want you to have power never want you to have power I mean this is the literal sense too like actual electricity power so you can't have it cuz you're not paying for it so I understand that but I'm going to get it anywhere I can. I mean if you've ever been homeless like the first thing on your mind is like where the heck am I going to get my toast from? it's not like you could just make toast or they sell it at the store or anything like that it's just not available and I refuse to have an existence where I don't get to make sourdough toast with some butter and enjoy it. I mean don't you enjoy that I enjoy it so yeah I did roll around with the toaster of being all homeless like a humbum and stuff, but I thought of myself as a rogue sourdough toast person maker. I am a rebel among sourdough toast makers. what is the last true sourdough toast aficionados. so yeah that's what I was doing there so I didn't eat and even hamburgers or stuff but I do appreciate Red Robin for letting me use their electrical outlet to make my sourdough toast and stuff and you probably charge your cell phone there too so it's like there's that but I mean why would you do that waste all your sourdough toast making time cuz...
Read moreI rate most Red Robin locations 4 or 5 stars. NOT so with this Red Robin in Lakewood, WA. It started out okay. I was seated, and my lunch order was taken in a timely manner. But then, the food never came. I waited and waited and was considering just walking out and eating somewhere else. But then I noticed that from my vantage point in the bar area, I could see four or five meals waiting under the warming lights. I don't know how long they had been there before I noticed them, but I watched them for at least 5 minutes before a server picked one of them up and brought it to me. My burger did have the extra onions I had requested, but both the burger and the fries were barely warm. (And the serving size of fries on my plate was pitiful.) But I was very hungry and already behind schedule so I ate them. Two of the other meals continued to sit under the lights for a few more minutes before they were served to a couple sitting a few tables away from me. The woman noticed something wrong with her order as soon as it was served. While I was eating I was not approached about a refill for either my steak fries or my drink. When I was finished eating, I waited a few minutes for my check, then decided to hit the PAY button on the table's electronic do-hickey even though I had planned to pay cash. It showed me the total cost of my meal that came close to $14.50 so I put a $15 cash on the table and walked out. If this had been my first Red Robin experience, I would probably never eat at one again. Luckily, most of my other Red Robin experiences have been excellent. Lakewood Red Robin will never see me...
