Yum Yum Teriyaki — Restaurant in Lakewood

I had the worst first experience it was my first time and they didnt bother to help he was short with me and rushing me then i tried to tell him what i want and he walked off. Very unprofessional. Never again and i will spread the word how bad it was wow that was a lie plus it was my first time being there you would think and a manager or a boss should know and i did stated it was my first time in there im gonna not know whats there and ask questions and see what was good and and it was not busy at the time we were the only ones in there you threw a fit and walked off to the back and you had a female help so how is that busy? If you storm to the back huh??? You need better customer service and help them and dont walk off and throw a fit and you dont need to lie about being busy it will make you look worse in the long run treat customers like your boss cause they pay you there is...

They should rename it Yuk Yuk Terrible-Yacki. I swear the people who rate this place higher than 2 stars do not know what real teriyaki taste like. I rather eat Panda Express than stomach this overcooked, tasteless, salty mystery meat concoction. The only good thing about this place is that it is open late. I made the mistake of trying this place with my daughter after a late water polo meet. If you have a teenager that does sport you know they will eat just about anything and in large quantity. And you know that after playing in water even the light eaters will consume a massive amount of food. EDIT: I posted this four years ago, and I just wanted to drop in and say that I still love this place. I still love the owners. I still love the food. I still want Kimchi.

I love this place, and the owners as well. The food is never disappointing. I've tried many different things on the menu, and there are still so many off-menu dishes that are worth every penny. This place makes amazing kimchi and spiced radish, and they are more than happy to scale up or down the size of your dish (and the price!) if it's too little or too much for you. This is comfort food at its best, and it's a great place to run into friendly people...
