Suns Alterations — Local services in Lakewood

I was a consistent and repeated customer to her shop because I knew she did my alterations quickly and accurately BUT I was not pleased at all the day I dropped off some clothes in a particular bag that I believed I would receive my belongings in the same bag! Well upon picking up the items my stuff was in a wrinkled old used plastic shopping bag and I saw my particular material bag filled with someone else's items right in front of my eyes so I simply and kindly gestured to her that I would prefer my bag over this used plastic bag! She admittedly insisted that it was her friends bag! well I guess i could have told her to replay her security cam since i was just there 3 days earlier for drop off but I thought oh it's not an expensive bag but it was the audacity that she would literally steal my bag from me right before my very eyes! I was hurt and disappointed that she would do me this way since I always tipped her on top of paying the bill because she did the work in a timely manner but she didn't value me enough as a customer to be honest with me and return my bag with my items in them! I will never return there again and have since found another seamstress but I wanted to just mention be sure if you take your clothes to her definitely put them in a bag you wouldn't care if you don't get it back! I really wished she wouldn't have done that to me I'm a very loyal customer and I love to give referrals but never to Sun's Alterations unfortunately in my opinion she's not an...

Brought in 3 pairs of pants that as I have aged, became longer in the legs…(smile) She said 1 week to 10 days approx. .ok…called 1 week later..I do not know if language barrier..but got the impression she didn’t know my service request nor offer a revised completion estimate…physically came in 3 days later…said were completed..ok…PAID FOR THE SERVICE .. no place to “ try on” and check fit…got home high expectations…I DO NOT BELIEVE that there was any…zero tailoring to the leg length done…I’m concerned about an ethical misrepresentation…period.. so…there’s that…verify any work WAS indeed performed! I was told amazing things about Sun. I needed to have a necktie and pocket square made. I walked in and had to said hello three times before she even acknowledged my presence! She was rude and shut me down before I could finish telling her what I needed! After walking outside my 6 year old asked...why was she so rude to us mommy?!?
