Amazing experience as always, "BUT" recently, experience has been a meh.
Almost 3 years ago I moved on from Starbucks and GC coffee to Dutch Bros. I was like, WOW! The taste, the value, the sizing, and the price, everything was on the spot. But recently, all that has went down the drain.
Most of anything related to "mocha" equals "chocolate milk". YES. They put a bunch of that milk to your drinks. It's almost as if I drink milk instead of coffee. For me to actually feel like I am drinking coffee, I need to ask for lesser sweetness AND extra shots, at least 2 extra shots.
All that, for a medium, now falls under around 8.50ish? With 2 dollar tips, we are looking at 10.5 bucks...for a medium coffee. Okay their medium is larger than most medium (most medium is around 16 oz, theirs is about 24). I feel super disappointed with taste and their pricing lately.
Another thing was also how they manage their drive thru. I was supposed to be in a certain order, but for some reason the front order takers grab someone elses order behind me (two cars after me), adding that 2 cars time into my time. I was on the main lane and the other 2 cars, that were supposed to be "behind" me, were taken care first because they were on the side lane (to the right of the main lane). I was flabbergasted... I was catching up on time because my upcoming appointment and now I have 2 cars before me that got taken care first, making them in front of me, and I had to wait for them first. I was lowkey pissed but I tried to keep my cool.
They need to create a better and more organized way to simplify this queueing issue. Realize that you guys are often super crowded, and when 2 cars behind you ended up taken care first, it sucks. I am disappointed more because it feels as if they do not have the mental attention to keep track which car comes first, and miscommunication happens between the two order takers. 3 stars, 2 stars for customer services behind the window, always super great. And 1 star for the coffee itself that is sp far still bareable.
Drove 5 miles for this only for such disappointment. Ill definitely grab close by...
Read moreMy whole family are big time Dutch Bros fans and have been for over 10 years. Since we currently live in an area without a Dutch Bros, it is now a big treat when we travel. This location however was a major disappointment! The staff weren't high energy, friendly ask us about our day (like their standard policy). The person making the drinks, read back the order correctly, which included one drink with whip and sprinkles. Then she made that drink added extra ice that over filled the cup and had to smash a lid on, then remembered the whip and instead of removing some ice to make room she took off the lid put a dab of whip in the middle and crammed the lid back on. When she tried to hand me the drink I reminded her about the spinkles so she again removed the lid and put small amount on and crammed the lid back on. All the drinks were below the normal standard we've come to expect from Dutch Bros. This really should be a 1 star review but our love for Dutch Bros and years of good experiences makes it hard to give that low...
Read moreEdit: After waiting about a week after initially writing this review it seems there was a near complete employee turnover. Drinks have returned to their typical quality!
Very clique-ish and act like sterotypical "nice to your face" mean valley girls. After I applied to the location then asked about it in person she said "well we just had a group interview, you didn't get a call!?" and from then on every employee has made my order (which was the same every time from before I applied) poorly blended and under-flavored every single time (to the point that Ive been asking for an extra scoop of flavour which they very obviously skip on giving me.) They switched from being friendly and prosocial to backhandedly judgmental and whispering over their shoulders to each other whilst giggling and throwing me side-eye. I've never experienced a Dutch Bros like this before and it's pretty...
