Villa Nova East — Restaurant in Manheim Township

After reading the reviews this looked like a nice local joint to grab something to eat and maybe have a beer and relax after a long day. I think it probably is but when I sat down the juke box was playing heavy metal music pretty loud. I just figured someone had put some money in the juke box and figured I would ride it out. Two people at the end of the bar right next to the kitchen were being extremely loud, obnoxious and annoying. OK......I can live with that too. Then I noticed the large male with the sides of his head shaved is going in and out of the kitchen a few times coming out chewing on something. Then I realize this same guy is controlling the juke box with his cell phone as well feeling the need to sing verses loudly across the bar as he felt the urge. Song after song after song of heavy metal music; loud When my food came all I wanted to do is eat it and get the hell out of there. I'm not complaining about the place but instead am making the owner/management aware there is a cancer within the works of your business that is doing damage. The service was awesome The food was great. The music and obnoxious behavior of what appears to be an employee? Unbelievable. If this person is an owner and not an employee; good luck buddy. The pizza, steak tip sandwiches, and fries are delicious. The chicken finger subs are tasty, but nothing you don't already expect. The servers are delightful, friendly, and perfect for setting a casual, relaxing, atmosphere. This bar is one with a lot of regulars, who are there to have an easy-going night. Friendly, low-key, sort of home-town feel to it.

They bring in a decent assortment of beers and have a good stash of affordable liquors, with a few higher end products such as Drambuie, as well.

Families come by with their kids, and sometimes there's a birthday lunch/dinner in the corner. The crowd can be a little raucous on the weekend, but on weeknights, it has a quaint charm to it.

They used to do karaoke and had a few regulars who ran it and performed in it. It was a blast, but those folks haven't been around regularly in a few months. There was a local ham who could really get the crowd into it, regardless...

My husband and I were staying at the Americas Best next door while visiting Lancaster and decided to have dinner here. Well, this bar and grill was a surprising treat for us. First of all, whoever the bartender was tonight was awesome! My drink of choice is a Long Island and they certainly made it to perfection! You’d be surprised at how many bartenders either have no clue on how to make one, or they don’t mix the correct amounts together and it has an off taste, not here!
