Let me preface by saying i absolutely love the discounted products at this store. That being said, it has gone downhill big time. Im wondering what the prerequisites are for management. Obviously not customer service. I'm assuming there are a couple feathers that have been ruffled because last time I was in there I was appalled at this employee yelling across the service desk to another employee. Something about her having to be there all night... Blah blah blah (i don't feel sorry for you, thats called a job).I was thinking okay maybe there's something mentally wrong and tried to let it be. This woman continues to talk over myself and the customer service rep obnoxiously. (So I started to record the conversation because every time I go there it's the same thing, completely unprofessional bs)... So I interrupt this lady at the service desk and I say , "I'm sorry this is really distracting is there a manager on the floor that can assist me because I can't even hear you." She gently grins and looks at me and says that's the manager... and I continue to try to get corporate information because it's crazy to see that happening. I should probably mention I am by no means a stick in the mud or easily offended... That brings me to today... as soon as I walk into the store, an inexperienced service rep comes up to the front and starts talking obnoxiously laughing about how they better watch out someone's going to be calling corporate... whether they were talking about myself or not is not the point. The point is i felt uncomfortable... when we start letting subpar people run these places... rather than people who have basic customer service skills, a friendly smile and perhaps a maturity level that surpasses Junior High basics... you get what this town has become. Stagnant. Mediocre. Complacent. Sorry but thats not my style. I'm going to drop the mic right here. Cause booya. Please let me know if I'm allowed to post pictures and videos of negative, disruptive and unkind Behavior coming from your employees. If not I have them available feel free...
Read moreI went in today to do a return at this store for some clothing my daughter got for her birthday. Let me just start by saying the service was horrendous. One of the associates that seemed new couldn’t figure out to process the return. The store coordinator Victoria comes by to help her. Not only does she have a nasty attitude but starts inspecting the clothing I’m returning. Literally for three pieces…she’s in the back scanning and investigating three items that don’t total $30. She not only has the store manager come in and take a look as well, But I call her to come back to the register and she looks back at me and tells me to wait with the biggest and nastiest attitude on her face. I don’t appreciate the service she provided and telling me that these items don’t match the description. Not my problem lady. It’s your job to provide service and figure it out. Marshall’s should reconsider who they have representing their store as managers. This puts a bad reputation for your store and environment. As I will no longer come into this store nor will I have my family and friends step foot...
Read moreCustomer service is going down hill big time here. "Customer SERVICE" means absolutely nothing to some of their cashiers. Management really needs to step up and perform regular quality control checks on their staff. Leilani L. is EXTREMELY rude and condisending to customers. Bad attitude from the start, but became very condisending when asked for a price check on a piece of furniture that had no sales tag. I told her there was the same item with a 59.99$ price tag, but in a different color. Without a price check she just states, "its 99.99$. Is that what the other ones were?" I said no, they are 59.99$. With no explanation, she just dismisses the price difference and rudely asks, "Do you want it?" A bit more to the story, but I ended up not purchasing the piece of furniture SOLELY because of this associate's horrible attitude. This young lady lost revenue and reputation for this store. Management definitely needs to be more aware of how their customers are treated and initiate training for employees such...
