Shop at ANY OTHER lululemon in Michigan! As a customer of lulu for over 8 years I have never had such a poor experience. While trying to return an align pair of legging that ripped, the acting “manager”, a youngish female red head, was nothing but rude. Instead of informing me of my options for the return as I was unable to swap them with another align pair she was rude and condescending. She told me that I was the issue and not the product so I had to pick a different product. Something I had never heard or been informed of before. Further to insinuate I was the issue even after informing her I had followed all of the instructions pertaining to the care and use of the align leggings. As I informed her and the other girl who I later found out was named Dar that I would be going to a different lululemon, the acting “manager” chuckled loudly as I turned to walk away. When I then asked for their names Dar, provided me with her name and the acting “manager” raised her voice and proclaimed she will not be providing her name and proceeded to no longer help me while sitting on her phone while there were other customers in the store. Dar the other young lady was very helpful during the entire time and remained professional while her “manager” was unhelpful, ill mannered, and unpleasant. As someone who has worked retail and customer service Dar handled this situation perfectly even if it was not my desired outcome. It is apparent that there are some attitude issues effecting this store with one person in particular the unnamed female red head is seemingly at the center of this stores problem. If you are an athlete, student, or just want some lulu order online or shop at a different store. This is the only store I have ever had an issue with and it is clearly an employee issue at this store which is seemingly reflected in their reviews. Avoid this location at all costs unless you prefer a poor experience to a great one like at the Ann Arbor or the Somerset store. I hope one day they have helpful employees like Dar compared to incompetent and rude managers like the lady...
Read moreI walked in and immediately was told by educator #4060 (last 4) about how I might not be within return date, and being asked if I knew the rules to return (tags etc) before I even put the bag down. I was being judged. The tone was way off. I spend a lot of money on LL which she could see based on my profile and the fact that my return resulted in a 366 dollar refund. Anyways. Her tone was so sour. She even acted like she had to ask her manager for permission to put WMTM on a gift card for a member and when asked why she did that she said “a week ago we couldn’t” but that’s not true. I don’t live near a store and typically go to the GR location. The manager also looked at her confused as to why she even asked. Well clearly she was stereotyping. Read moreMy husband and I went in on Black Friday to look around for the first time. He tried some things on and decided to put some items on his Christmas list. I am plus size and do not wear a size 20. This is their highest size. The clerk asked if I would be willing to try some things on because she thought that they would fit me. Well, they did! The items that I added to my Christmas list were so comfortable! We received superb customer service. The differences between the leggings, joggers and other pants were thoroughly explained to us.
I went back in this weekend, 3 weeks later, to purchase things for my husband. Another clerk recognized me and remembered what I had looked at 3 weeks ago! It was incredible. I was so impressed by this.
