Meijer — Local services in Lansing

Conveniently located in the center of downtown. Very organized produce section and well stocked liquor and wine selections. Meijer brand items are normally priced but prepared and prepackaged meals and snacks are on the very high end.

The major issue with the store is the men’s restroom. Dirty, rank smells and always in disarray. I frequent this location and other Meijer locations as a professional shopper and I’ve never seen a restroom as frequently unkept as this one. I’ve mentioned it to employees and nothing changes. I spoke to the manager Gary who blames the customers that make it a mess. I encouraged him to do better for the other customers but after several visits since, there has been no change. One day I entered the store and he was sitting in the doorway on an electric cart talking to another employee. Time to lean is a time to clean and that evening it was worse...

We stopped in from the hotel next door, to pick up some items we forgot at home, and were quite impressed with the organization and cleanliness of this Meijer store.

I wish I could go shopping here...
