This was our first time eating at The Nut House; we had won a gift certificate same day and figured we would try them out. Before even entering the establishment, we questioned whether the business was open or not; There were very few cars in the lot & no open sign visible in any windows. Being Labor Day afraid they weren't open, we still gambled and got out to check the doors. Doors were open & we walked in to a nearly empty establishment; 4 people at the bar and two other tables sitting 2 people each. We took our seat near the back, and waited for our waitress. At first, Shalice was attentive and appeared to care about her customers, she took our drink order, brought the drinks back to the table and we gave her our appetizer order of nutty bread with ranch and dill sauce. Shalice gave us a few more minutes before returning for our order of a meat lovers pizza. As time passed, Shalice approached our table at least three times letting us know our bread would be out shortly. On her 4th visit to the table, she told us our bread was being discounted because it had taken 30 minutes and being all new people in the kitchen, that was an unacceptable time frame. About 5 minutes later, someone other than Shalice delivered our bread, which looked amazing and tasted great. We had gotten about three bites into the bread, when Shalice brought out what appeared to be a very under cooked pizza. Immediately after setting the pizza down, Shalice walked away; only to return once asking if we wanted a refill on beverages, not asking how the pizza was. We chose to try to eat the pizza as best we could, as we knew the kitchen staff was new. Out of an 8 slice pizza, we ate 2 1/2 slices; the sauce was awful, toppings cold and dough in middle was severely undercooked. Shalice returned once again, only to ask if we wanted a box for our undercooked pizza, again never asking how we liked the pizza or if everything was all right. We declined and proceeded to ask for our check. Our bill totaled 28.01 with the gift certificate, the bill was brought to 3.01...which is why we did not complain about the under done pizza, we weren't looking for something for free. When Shalice brought the change back to the table, we let her know that its too bad the kitchen was to blame for the pizza because any good server would have recognized that we did not like the pizza and how under cooked it was. Instead of Shalice apologizing, she decided she wanted to go toe-to-toe with me and defend that she is in fact a good server and that she was very busy (mind you, still the same amount of customers as when we first arrived) I looked around and laughed at the fact that she was "too busy" to recognize something wrong at a table. The tip, that was to be left for our waitress was picked up and put back into my pocket. Again we were not looking for anything for free, we had all desire to pay fully for the entire meal, just wanted our "good" waitress to recognize when a table is unhappy or even when a meal is brought out that looks inedible. We were never approached by a manager, even after Shalice stated the manager was the one discounting the bread... We will never be back to this establishment; and I hope those who do visit are lucky enough to be spared by the...

I am writing this review based on 2 separate visits. Back in Mid April we had my wife's birthday party there because Starfarm was playing. We walked in early (around 5ish maybe)a let the hostess know that we were throwing a birthday party and had 20 to 25 people coming. The Hostess was pleasant and put us in a section where as it cleared out we could claim the tables. Our server for the entire evening was Sierra. She was phenomenal. She worked her tail off as people come and went at different times and always kept a smile on her face and was always very nice and pleasant. Her customer service skills were top notch. My wife and I left there thinking that was the best experience we had there. Fast forward to tonight (well actually Saturday 8/10). Starfarm was back and this time we only had a party of 6. We wanted to be outside and the hostess who greater us once again got us set up with tables and chairs. My wife and I were the only ones there at the time. Our Hostess said your server will be right with you. We waited....and waited....and waited some more until 20-25 minutes went by. That is when my wife spotted Sierra as the one who waited on us for her B Day and went over to talk to her. Sierra remembered exactly who we were and offered to take care of us. And she did. With the same level of consistent, phenomenal, top notch service that she gave us back in April. The reason this review is 5 stars and not the 3 or 4 that your place actually deserves is because if Sierra. I hope she gets recognized for this review that I am leaving. And finally, every time we come in no matter where we are sat, we will ask for Sierra to be our server if she is there. She is the reason we will be back to your establishment. Thank you....Dave...

Never been treated so poorly at any sort of establishment ever! Went in Wednesday 12/20/2017 about 6:30 pm . Walked in and was waiting to be seated as their sign indicates. Wait 3-4 minutes and don't see a single employee and there are only a few other customers in the building, they are not busy by any means. Use the bathroom and then walk around the entire restaurant, still no employees other than the bartender! Grabbed a random table and finally a waitress comes out to clear off a table near me, but she still does not approach me. I walk up to her and ask if I need to wait to be seated or not, I was never rude at any point while talking to her. Eventually the conversation ended with her snapping back at me in a rude manner to "GRAB A SEAT THEN!" while gesturing me toward a table. Again, I was never rude to her at any point before this in the conversation and I was totally blown away by this awful customer service and how rude she was. Decided I would NOT be spending my money here and on my way out I asked another employee (who finally come out from the back) what the girls name was. I was told it was ANNA. Also, the food in my past visits has been mediocre at best.

I see the owner of this resturant has commented on some of the more flattering reviews of their business but I feel they have some serious issues on their hands if the people who are managing this place cannot even properly bring people to their restaurant and get them seated! I waited over 10 minutes to even see an employee in an EMPTY restaurant. Then you have staff members like Anna who are extremely rude to customers who are trying to figure out how to get seated. WON'T BE BACK AND WONT BE BRINGING...

We came here for dinner after a festival at the stadium. We quickly realized that this is a place where locals come to drink. We stood there waiting to be acknowledged for about 15 minutes before I finally asked the barista if we could sit. After nearly 35 minutes at our table, we again, had to get help from the barista. She was very apologetic and came out from behind the bar to take our orders. I give it 3 stars because the atmosphere was lively, those who did help us were very kind, and the food was actually good. Unfortunately it is not a place we will be returning. To loud and over crowded. Was a nearly 3 hour dinner. People were literally standing everywhere.

My husband and I came here for a drink and bite to eat. It has a large table area with a bar. You can go through to another room with the bar continuing. There are pool tables here and a few tables. All in all, nice sports bar. The drinks were good and not very expensive. They also have happy hour specials. The only beef we had was the food. The food is okay but way too expensive for the quality. The dishes should be anywhere from 2 to 4 dollars less. I liked the place but my husband didn't like it as well. The server was prompt and very nice -- Elizabeth.

Attended a rehearsal dinner (10/28/2022). One waitress was assigned to serve 30+ of us. Buffett style pizza, breadstick, salad bar. Pizza came out raw and the manager had new pizza made. The pizza came out doughy the second time. By this time the dinner was basically over. The managers solution was to send the pizza back through the oven a second time so we had some to take home. The grooms parents payed for the entire dinner and were not compensated for the terrible service. We won’t be back. That’s not cheese in the picture, it’s dough.
