When I moved back to my home town, I walked into this shop while walking by. I was so happy and impressed with this shop. Local business, some hand crafted and homemade products that was very earth healthy, body healthy, meaning non toxic... that was an amazing plus side... and by the Woman herself who owns the business. Amazing stones... artwork... wooden art...clothes, books... oils... etc etc... the list could go on. I love this lady. She always is keeping an eye out to keep downtown safe. I love her homemade all purpose cleaner too!!!! the smell of it reminds me of my sister whom would fall in love with this shop hard-core if she was in town. I live on the west side of the state, but every single time I visit the east side, I make a point to stop at Essential Necessities LLC & The Rock Shop. This store never fails to impress me.

The customer service is consistently excellent, making each visit a pleasant experience. The atmosphere is welcoming and enjoyable, adding to the overall appeal of the store. I am always delighted with the products I purchase and never leave empty-handed.

No matter my initial intention, I can never spend just five minutes in this store. Inevitably, I find myself there for at least an hour, captivated by everything it has to offer.

This is honestly my favorite store in Lapeer! I love to get gifts for friends and family from Essential Necessities & Rock Shop. They're always a hit! Weather it be a beautiful healing stone, textile made from a far away land or homemade hair products, (a personal favorite of mine) they're always extra special to the recipient! The jewelry selection is also fun and different from anything else. I am always pleased with the selection and enjoy the energy of this shop. The only advice I have is to bring a little extra money, as you will likely want one of everything for yourself :).
