BEST SOUP AND SANDWICHES IN LAPEER I can't rave enough about this place! The food and service here are simply beyond amazing. Every bite of their soup and sandwiches is a culinary delight. And don't even get me started on their homemade pop-tarts – they are absolutely divine! This establishment is a gem in every sense, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who's hungry and looking for a fantastic meal.

The owners are amazing, always approachable and friendly, which sets a welcoming tone for the entire experience. Every staff member I've encountered has been incredibly kind and helpful. It's clear that customer satisfaction is their top priority. This is truly an all-around amazing place to go, and I can't praise it highly enough.

Amazing food, my friend is a pescatarian, he had the albacore tuna sandwich with the poblano & white cheddar soup. I enjoyed a vegetarian sandwich with turkey on a great whole grain bread. They have a build your own sandwich menu so everything works! The food is friendly both in the serving size and the price. 1/2 sandwich and cup of soup was $7.41 Service, Very kind, and friendly, ready to help with a smile. Can't say enough.... Revisited Dagwood, another fantastic lunch. They now have a bakery area in the front of the store. I want to start off by saying I’ve frequented cream/dagwoods deli for years. The sandwiches are so yummy and I often find myself craving them! Main thing is they are super pricey. Over $30 for two cold cut sandwiches? And that’s without sides or drinks. That just seems like a lot for me. Especially in this economy. Their homemade pop tarts rung up to be over $12 for two. Two pop tarts are over $12? I know that price comes from the labor and love as well as the uniqueness of the flavors, but it’s hard to justify that price for a little sweet treat.
