Ridley's Family Markets — Local services in Laramie

I was going to buy some chili beans to make chili with. The price for a can (kuners)was $2.69 and this was supposedly a sale price with regular price being $2.89. I brought this to the attention of 3 clerks who treated me like I was nuts. When was the last time that a can of beans retailed for over .79 cents?? I know prices are going up but this truly was nuts. The time before when I was shopping there I was waiting for service at the meat department. One employee was helping another customer, another was wrapping sushi and wouldn't even look at me, another was in the back walking past the door window often. I waited for at least 15 minutes then walked out of the store leaving a full cart of groceries and furious that my trip to Ridleys cost me over an hour of my time for NOTHING. I placed an order for a cupcake cake for my daughters birthday party back in April. I asked for it to be designed with at least one Dino because my daughter is really into Dino’s right now. I was ready for it to be a really dorky looking Dino that looked nothing like a Dino. I had to call mid week this week to add a few more cupcakes and they did it with no issue. My father and husband picked the cake up and sent me the pictures and I was beyond impressed with the amount of detail put into her cake! I will be and have been telling everyone where I got the cake from. The cupcakes were beyond delicious and moist. They tasted like they had been made yesterday morning! Everyone at my daughters party was blown away and impressed by the cake when we took it out of the box! I will be ordering more cakes from Ridley’s in the future !! Normally I do not shop at Ridleys because the produce is terrible but I will go there for a quick trip. However, the other day I was shopping when I could hear a customer from fairly far away talking with what I believe is a manager complaining about Democrats and how much he hates him. The employee was agreeing with him. He continued to elevate it to the point where he claimed if a democrat were to walk up to him right then, he would shoot them because that was just how much he hated them. The employee continued to agree with him. While I respect everyone's right to have their own opinion and their freedom of speech, I profusely object to an employee agreeing with this and condoning violence.
