Today I went to Marshals, as I got to the register during my transaction the lady at register 1 asked me if I wanted to get a marshals credit card. I declined and informed her I used to have one and I just stopped using it. It was around 3PM and she was wearing glasses. After I said no, and she finished my transaction I was about to say âthank you have a go-â thatâs all I got to say. The lady proceeded to say âbye, bye,bye,bye,byeâ in a condescending and slow toneâŠuntil I walked away. She didnât let me talk, I had to even bag my own items because they were falling out of the bag. What if I wouldâve changed my mind? That couldâve been a card for her but instead I left with no credit card and no good experience. This is actually the worse customer service Iâve had a retail store. I love marshalsâŠ.. I take my family members when they come out of town, my friends when they need clothing or house hold items and decor. If youâre looking for a better customer service experience take your shopping and money elsewhere. I hope she wasnât a manger because what type of example are you setting for your employees? And if sheâs not a manager what type of people are being hired? If you apply for a customer service job, and you cant do the customer service part then what are you doing there? It sucks because I love Marshallâs and it takes one and experience to ruin the amazing experience that has been built for my friends and family over a âcredit cardâ throughout the years.
