We stayed at the Whispering Breeze Home hosted by Beaches USA Vacation Rentals over the 4th of July weekend. We booked through Airbnb, and this was the first time that we have ever rented a vacation rental. We have always stayed at hotels or resorts when vacationing, but we decided to give it a try. The house was ok. The pictures made it look a lot bigger than it really was. The house was not very clean. We had to wash all the silverware as it had food stuck to the knives when we pulled them out of the drawer. The pool had long hair floating around in it and was kind of gross. It must have been the people who were there before us because the long hair was all over the showers. The cleaning prior to our arrival was obviously not that great. The furniture was cheap. The bed in the master bedroom sagged because it was very cheap metal. The support posts under the bed did not provide support and when you moved it was very loud across the whole house at night. We did get it last minute, so we were just happy to be there. The walk to the beach was not that bad. There was not direct beach access where you can park a car so there are a lot of trips back and forth. The beach area was nice once we got settled in and it was a great place to watch the fireworks up and down the beach. Having the pool at the house was a great however the pool furniture was in bad condition. We had all our stuff packed up and the house cleaned by the time check out and left for home. The next day we were contacted by Airbnb stating that the host, Beached USA Vacation Rentals had assessed that we broke their couch and was assessing us for the repairs. My aunt had pointed out the condition of the couch when we arrived but given the condition of all the furniture and this being the first time we have used a vacation rental, I felt that it was normal. I provided a response in addition to statements from all that traveled with us that it was pre-existing damage. Airbnb and Beaches USA Vacation Rentals stated that the evidence revealed that we caused the damage. We were never provided with any evidence other than the cleaning crew said we caused the damage. Given the condition of the rental when arrived, I do not hold their assessment in high regard. My group was three couples that are 50 and over. We do not jump on furniture. Airbnb disregarded our responses and charged our credit card for the damages we did not cause. The only reason I am writing this review is to let others know to be ware of these companies. I do not want anyone else to have to go through this horrible experience. The hotels and resorts are a much...
Read moreI’ve stayed at the Seagate in Indian Shores in previous years and I had a booking for October 5 and as we all know, Helena came to devastate and the condo was in good shape however Surrounding area was not and the company refund it all of my money because they care about our whole experience not just a part of it and they know right now the devastation in that area, there needs to be a lot of healing and rebuilding so it can come back stronger. They obviously gave me the option to continue, but we’re fully transparent on the devastation that Helena left behind.
from start to finish from booking to now, I have had nothing but amazing customer service beautiful phone etiquette! really amazing team members Pam Erica Robin you ladies are phenomenal!!! A company cannot flourish without amazing employees, and this company hit the jackpot! I would highly recommend booking not only are there condos absolutely stunning /clean and well managed. customer service is a five star!! and cases of emergency such as this they’re not like other businesses wanting to keep the money they want to make sure they build lifelong relationships with their customers so we come back for years to come. They really are in it for the connection and for their clients experience!! so in a world full of greed, be like beaches, USA!!!! I know I will always book my travel vacations through you guys for the beaches!!! Remember right now be in prayer for everyone that was lost /injured for all of the property damage and just complete disaster that was left behind After Helena!! I might have lost a vacation, but others have lost so much more!! stuff doesn’t matter lives do!!!...
Read moreI reached out to this company for months about my subpar rental experience. They completely ignored me, refused to respond to my emails and never returned calls. Do not rent from this company. We stayed in one of their Indian Rocks properties. The master bedroom mattress is completely sunken in, basically deeming that room unusable during our stay. Outdoor shower never worked, water just leaks out of the bottom. The only bathroom sink was clogged. Basic tasks like brushing teeth without a filthy sink were difficult. The paint in the bathtub is peeling makes the shower appear to be dirty. The inflatable kayaks (you offered on the sheet in the laundry room) we were never able to access. The code is incorrect. Most importantly The sliding door is stripped completely. Therefore the house is unlocked because anyone can just enter from that door. I noticed someone came on the property (behind the closed gate) and changed the recycling and trash receptacles on the street one day while we were gone. This was I guess a nice gesture... but it would have been nice to know if someone from your company was there. If not from your company, a neighbor perhaps? Seeing as though the house is basically unlocked, I didn't appreciate it. The neighborhood seems nice enough, but I still removed all of my valuables each time...
