I could not wait to write this review and tell you about my experience with Cashmere Color Hair Studio in Belair Bluffs.

I had called a couple of places to try to find a hairstylist that was reasonably priced and near our condo. The owner, Tonia Cobetto, had taken my call and actually had an opening the same day.

When I met Tonia, we immediately connected and I told her of all the problems I was having with my hair. I'm originally a brunette, but for 24 years I have been dying my hair blonde, so it was over processed and pretty much damaged.

I asked if Tonia could save my hair, and she immediately knew what to do. Tonia suggested that I deposit a color, rather than stripping it with more dye. I had such horrible frayed hair with split ends, and so much damage that it was falling out. Tonia immediately came up with a creative solution, and I felt very confident that she knew exactly what to do.

I trusted her and her 32 years of experience, and I wasn't worried in the least. I figured anything that she could do for me would be better than what I had.

Needless to say, I had the most unbelievable transformation. Tonia had cut and colored my hair and it was sassy and flowing, and she taught me how to keep it that way, she literally took 20 years off of me.

Tonia truly is a creative visionary and knows how to treat any type of hair! I walked out of her studio with the spring in my step and a total new outlook. She is a creative person who has vision. I rarely write reviews. I have never met or knew anyone conected to Cashmere Color Salon, so this is truly unbiased. I knew my my hair was badly damaged, tangled, and over bleached. I always wore my hair up, because it looked so bad. Also, health issues caused large clumps of my hair to fall out. So when I met Tonia, I really thought she would tell me to cut it all off. But, Tonia has so much skill and experience that she knew what was needed, she recommended a much more intelligent approach. Tonia could easily see the damage. She recommended a haircut that was still long, with lowlights and highlights, (very similar to my natural hair color). The color is very natural, not bleached solid yellow blond like it was, but dimensional with shades of blond, so it is very natural. I felt very comfortable with Tonia's exceptional knowledge, skill and experience, and I am so glad I did. I really feel like a new person, my hair is healthy again, it looks so natural. I don't feel the need to wear it up to hide my hair. I have no more frizz. It is manageable, so I don't struggle with tangles. I really wish I found Tonia many years ago. From my first communication with Brooke and Tonia via text regarding scheduling a consultation to find a new hairstylist who could create a custom pink color for me, I could sense their passion, creativity, and enthusiasm! And as soon as I walked into the salon for my consultation, I immediately felt at home both in the space and with them. Their salon is impeccably decorated and very comfortable. And their energy, both as individuals, and as a team, is open, warm, and welcoming! I brought in flowers of varying shades of pink from my own garden for inspiration for my custom color. They were so excited and collaborative as we discussed my desired result! I went back the next afternoon for my appointment and they definitely worked their magic!!! They gave me precisely what I asked for…and more! My hair has never looked so amazing! And beyond that, I was surrounded by authentic, loving energy the entire time I was in the salon.
