OK so I never leave bad reviews. This is a first! I go to this Penera at least once a week usually more… I like Panera because they have clean ingredients and I love the food, but I have to say I think I could count on one hand the amount of times I’ve received an order and hasn’t been messed up. Everything from completely under cooked food to ordering a sandwich with a couple extra things and then putting only the extra things on the sandwich not the actual ingredients. I’ve gotten rotten avocado, brownies in a bag so the frosting is everywhere, meat on salads or sandwiches when I haven’t eaten meat in years( not something I forgot to mention). I worked in the service industry most of my life hence this feeling kind of wrong I just hope that comments like this might make people realize what’s going on! The people who have been there longer look constantly miserable and there’s always new people, I can honestly say I feel bad for the manager of this place but maybe they’re just not doing the best job or something? I got rapid pick up once and they didn’t make the entire order because they didn’t have the bread for one sandwich… I mean guys you’re right by the beach you can go before work you can go after work… Give it your all when you’re there! And then get off and take a breather! Someone seriously needs to help this Panera. I feel for you guys! And it won’t stop me from coming back... I’ve got faith in you Panera... help...
Read moreMy wife wanted to go there for lunch. She enjoyed her salad. I ordered the steak sandwich. When I lifted the bread 3/4 of the one half had no meat on it and the other half was very sparse. I thought it was a joke or a mistake. I brought it back to the counter and they said they put one scoop on the sandwich. This looked just like an ice cream scoop but smaller. I told manager they must not have filled up the scoop. So my wife enjoyed her salad and I had a sandwich that I only had meat maybe 40% of the bites. $13 for a roll with about the amount of steak that is as much space of a golf ball. I love Paneras, but form now on we will go to Clearwater Mall location about 3 miles farther away from us. Stay away from West Bay location near bridge. I have only written a bad review one other time in my life. I know prices are up and portions may have gone down, but this location lost a customer, plus this will not be the last time I tell this story. I was going to take a photo, but my wife said she would be embarrassed, I guess I should feel embarrassed to have a place rip you off like that. Talking about embarrassed, when they showed me that very small scoop, I was like, that can't spread across a sandwich. Place is a joke at West...
Read moreThis Panera is generally slightly better-than-average and it may be its location where customers in the two communities it serves have higher expectations. There are a couple of problem employees there with maturity experience and professionalism however those kinds of people don't last long. Food quality at the Panera stores is pretty consistent however I do notice a trend at all Panera's but especially at this one with an almost skimpy serving of meat when you order sandwiches. I don't like paying $9 for a full sandwich that has a dollars worth of meat on it. I can go to any deli and make my own better quality sub in about the same amount of time. This particular location also seems to have some Refrigeration temperature issues with its fresh-made lemonade because they always taste like they're on the verge of enzyming. If you take one home to have the next morning for breakfast it will have enzymed overnight in your refrigerator and will not be edible. I would like to see this restaurant have just a little bit more customer service engagement and a little less horseplay behind...
