Munchkin Town — Local services in Largo

My family live in Lakeland about an hour and a half away but we were renting a house in Seminole for vacation with my parents from Mass. We really wanted to do a beach day but it was windy and about to thunderstorm for half of the day. So we looked up indoor playgrounds and this popped up. Drove about 15-20 mins from Seminole/Indian Rocks. We arrived and the place had foam mats throughout the whole floor. Has gates where children shouldn’t go. Offer juices and waters and you’re able to bring your own food and drink as well. The atmosphere was great, most of the parents were with their kids if not then there was the owners/workers that kept an eye out. They have kids of their own that play with the other kids. My 3 year old son fell in love with the cash registers at the grocery and ice cream stands. There’s a very good bouncy house with a ball pit that the balls looked extremely clean. Whenever there’s kids that put toys in their mouths or wherever it shouldn’t go the parent/workers are suggested to put it in these “Yuck Buckets” that are on the wall higher up so the kids can’t touch it again. Has plenty of seats for parents. Played Disney music thru a Spotify playlist on tv. Every time my son recognized a song, he would run to the tv thinking there was a movie on, it was great. I can’t begin to express my satisfaction with Munchkin Town! I held my daughter’s first birthday there today… our host Sidney (sorry for incorrect spelling) was a light! She was so sweet, and professional. She walked us through anything and gave us help setting up. She was very kind and such a sweet soul!

As for the play area itself! Magnificent! I loved the upbeat music selection! And SO clean! Walking in, you could smell how clean it was. Bathrooms were tidy as well.

My children and guests had an amazing time. The pricing was fair for the experience! You can’t get any better than this! Especially for summer birthdays when you need an air conditioned indoor setting!

If you’re on the fence, just do it! Your kids will have the best time ever! I hope to attend their regular business hours as well.

After reading bad reviews from 1+ years ago I figured I’d let everyone know that this indoor play space is under new ownership who are very hands on. The place is immaculate, organized and a fun, relaxed and safe place for children 6 and under to play comfortably. There are numerous events held weekly, including music class on Wednesday mornings for a small additional fee as a music teacher comes in. Marissa and her husband are welcoming, friendly, parents themselves and understand how important it is to keep everything disinfected and they do indeed have a strict policy on sick children, honestly though I’d say it’s up to the parents to keep your child home.
