I’ve debated doing this but today is one of those days where I think about it and I can no longer keep this inside. I had my wedding here and while the decorations was top tier, the organization of the wedding, the reception, the food , the music were disasters. To this day, almost a year later my husband and I are still embarrassed and very sad by how terribly our big day went. We couldn’t do a rehearsal dinner because they booked a party at the venue the night before so our wedding party was confused on where to go. The caterer lied about the menu and didn’t have the food we all agreed upon. The photographer did a great job. She did her job very well. The videographer could have done better but he missed our first bite of the wedding cake, and he missed recording my grandfather-in-law’s speech. He reached out to one of my bridesmaids to see if he could use her footage of those moments. The music was disgusting. The DJ didn’t know what the hell he was doing and played the dirty versions of songs. My husband and I curated an ENTIRE playlist of clean music and the DJ just did whatever he wanted. My guests were taken aback and rightfully so because the music was vulgar and full of cursing. When the wedding was over, the wedding staff wasted no time and began eating the leftover food. Nothing went right and to make matters worse, no one took accountability. Yes, my mom was tough but if she wasn’t things would not have gotten done. The owner had the audacity of referring to my mom as a ‘b-word’ in an email she sent to one of my friends. We shouldn’t look back on our wedding in sadness and embarrassment but sadly we do every time we think of it. Family and friends still bring it up and it’s incredibly embarrassing. You only get one wedding day and our day was ruined. I don’t recommend this place.

Edit: The response to my honest review says an awful lot about how Karen runs her business and as well as her lack of professionalism. At the end of the day, my husband and I are still hurt and upset about how things went. It could have went a lot better. Nothing my mom asked of you was outlandish or unreasonable. Any person would be upset if they paid for the most expensive package and things weren’t going the way they were supposed to go. Especially for a wedding. You still had no right to call my mom outside of her name. That ‘Happy Anniversary’ was not from a kind place so you can keep that. Reading my previous reviews seems to be a bit childish and unprofessional but if that’s how vindictive you like to be then that is a bigger reflection on you and...

I recently attended a formal dinner party for my niece Sweet 16, at the Studio 131 Weddings & Events the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived at this amazing venue, the staff went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect. The venue itself was stunning—elegantly decorated by the staff and impeccably maintained, with a sophisticated ambiance that set the tone for a truly memorable evening.

The owner and event coordinators were incredibly organized and attentive, seamlessly managing all aspects of the evening and ensuring everything ran smoothly. Their expertise and professionalism made the entire process stress-free and enjoyable. It was brought to my sister’s attention that an uninvited guest recently posted a review with a blurry screenshot of a black speck in one of the centerpiece. Giving this venue a one star which was totally wrong and uncalled for. I speak for the family of the birthday girl and we were pleased. If anyone sees that review, please do not let that be your basis for making a decision to choose this venue. The staff did an excellent job decorating the entire building. That uninvited person was just looking for something to complain about. Overall, this venue provided a flawless process for a very special celebration.
