Touching Hearts, Flavio and his team were exceptional. Our family had experience with a lot of private aide companies over the last few years who we had retained to care for our grandmother who was in her 90’s and suffering from severe dementia and were always disappointed with the level of care and responsiveness. We had all but lost hope that there were any qualified aide companies out there that could adequately care for an elderly dementia/Alzheimer’s patient when we found Touching Hearts. They were a true godsend. They cared- really cared- about my grandmother’s well-being in all respects. Not only did they take thorough and delicate care of her daily needs (which was not easy given her dementia which caused her to be verbally and physically aggressive on occasion), but after the pandemic started, they updated us regularly on her medical care, physical condition and alerted us to changes in her condition. They were our eyes when we couldn’t be there and were like surrogate family members to her when we were not permitted to visit. Touching Hearts provided 24/7 care for a dear friend of mine. He was discharged home with no equipment. Since there was no family in town, the owner of Touching Hearts, Flavio, sent one of their team members out at 9pm to get supplies for him! How amazing!! 💜 The caregivers did a great job! In a female dominated industry, two male caregivers really stood out. They connected with him right away, anticipated his needs, encouraged him, and were very compassionate! Britt was very familiar with Hospice services and made sure those resources were provided. Omar was so kind and always making sure he had fresh liquids, was clean and made creative soft food for him. In fact he was was with him until his last breath. The communication was on point. When he passed, the owner personally called me to offer sincere condolences. I simply can't say enough good things about Touching Hearts and their caregivers.

When my parents both simultaneously became very sick last year, I needed a miracle, and they provided it. Their work and dedication has dramatically improved and literally extended my parents' lives.

It took a while to find the right caregivers as far as age and personality. My parents can be, eh, fussy😆 (and Alzheimers doesn't help things!). But they have a deep bench, and after about 6 weeks or so, we had settled on a core team of women I could count on and trust with my parents' health.

Many have years of experience working with various types of dementia patients. They cook, clean, keep them company, drive them places -- you name it.
