The staff at this fine meat purveyor have proven themselves to be not only extremely helpful but also incredibly knowledgeable. Their expertise was evident from the moment I walked in, and their enthusiasm for assisting customers in making informed decisions is truly commendable.
While it's true that the prices here may be somewhat higher compared to your average grocery store, I wholeheartedly believe that the extra cost is well worth it. The quality of the meat available at this store is simply unparalleled – each cut is fresh, tender, and bursting with flavor. Not only that, but the extensive selection of meats available allows customers to choose from a wide variety of cuts and types, ensuring that you'll find the perfect meat for any occasion.

Read moreI stop in every so often to grab something special for dinner. I sometimes try out new foods here because they have a wide variety of exotic game, processed meats, sausages, & preserved foods like pickles. Last Thursday my wife & I got a couple of nice Wagyu sirloin steaks, 2 orange roughy fillets, & some alder chips for the smoker. I seasoned the steaks with only salt & pepper. I left them in the fridge overnight. They were about 1 ½ inch thick, & weighed about 14 oz each. I grilled them outside & served them with a couple of russets that I also cooked on the grill, wrapped up in olive oil s&p. Let me tell you that these steaks were the best I've enjoyed in a long time. The flavor was unbelievably delicious! I've has 21 day dry aged steak before, & these were as good if not better than anything I've paid $60 & up for in a restaurant. I almost don't want to share this information with you because I want there to be some available there the next time I go. Thanks to The Butcher Block for putting out a quality steak at a price a working man can afford to treat his family to every...

Very friendly very much so, " you tell me what you guys need and I got ya...and if you don't know what you need, I can make suggestions ".
This was perfect as we really had no clue what we wanted. the selection of meats was great including some exotic meats that I never heard of before. I ended up getting alligator which I will barbecue tomorrow.
The young lady who worked the front counter whose name I believe is Hannah was great as well. Very sweet, kind and nature demeanor which helps when you have no idea what you're looking for, LOL.
Everyone in the market was in full compliance with the mask mandate which also makes me feel safe about going back as well as, the staff taking seriously the possibility of being or causing someone else to get sick. This was great to see as is that is not necessarily the case most places now. Be sure to shop here and keep our local businesses alive and...
