1st time I'm pretty sure a worker implied I was homeless. Literally ask me where I worked for no reason and proceeded to have a convo about the homeless population 2nd time same worker literally checked out my items for me, if you all did not want a self check out, why was one installed? Made me feel like he thought I wasn't going to pay for my things, and during covid there is no need for anyone to be that close anyways 3rd time I come in with my boyfriend to buy some things and one of your employees literally comes within 2 feet of me and my bf and pretends to fold clothes or tend to the area. Today I was followed around the store by a heavy set black American female with dreads. She was accusing me of trying to steal. I was simply trying to see if a phone case would fit my phone by putting my phone next to the package which remained unopened. I shop at multiple 5 below stores including this one and this has never happened before. I let her know she can check my purse after she followed me to the door while I was making my exit. Worst five below ever! Called to place a sweater on hold this morning. I informed the girl that I would be there either today or tomorrow and to please keep it to the side, told her my name and my size. I get there and she says some other workers didn’t think I would come and put it back on the rack and someone sold it. She told me to come back tomorrow and I said no (I live so far) and ended up buying a size that does not fit. How incompetent can you be?!
