Let’s start off with DONT BUY FROM THESE SCAMMERS. About 6 months ago i went to the pembroke pines location and i left with a beautiful mini dachshund. she is now 8 months and healthy! I went to this location in lauderhill looking for a healthy french bulldog. i found a 2 month old male frenchie. he was sweet seemingly calm and i was offered price negotiation because i had another dog from forever love puppies which was nice, i tried negotiating but unfortunately the owner was the one who had to approve the prices and they were no where to be found. one of the employees was texting back and forth with the owner to get my family and i approved for the price of $2000 since the retail was $2495. The owner took almost 3 hours to give a response and we waited. We finally paid and waited for the dog to be cleaned. The dog was ready we went in to get it and it was still dirty and covered in fecal matter from itself and other dogs. an employee took it back to the back to clean it again. We left with the dog this past saturday and had the dog for about one night when my family and i noticed some alarming things. the dog was very quiet, didn’t want to play and just laid there. We took it to the closest vet where we were told the dog is sick and looks to have been sick since we bought it. The dog was diagnosed with an upper respiratory infection and Giardia which is an internal parasite. At this point the dog wasn’t eating within 3 days of the purchase and we were extremely worried. We took the dog back to the vet and they told us the dog has an issue with its digestive system from a birth defect. it would take thousands of dollars in surgery to fix. The money isn’t the problem it’s the fact this place forever love puppies is a scam and fraud. I’m disappointed and i’m praying for the dog which is still hospitalized and being treated. The dog hasn’t eaten in 5 days now and could possibly need to be put down. My family and I are distraught, and very sad for the puppy who is just a baby. We went back to forever love puppies with the dog and tried to show them the dog was sick. I asked to speak to the owner and was denied any help. they gave me an email for the HR department and recommend i go back to the vet which is when the dog was hospitalized. I’m working with my bank to get a dispute for fraud. This is against the lemon laws in the state of Florida. This place deserves to be shut down. DONT...
Read moreWe purchased our Mini Golden doodle in Feb of 2024. They gave us document that states if any signs of genetic disorders arise within the year that would it be covered under a warranty. We noticed him limping around that mark, and took him in for X-rays. The X-ray showed he had severe hip dysplasia and Doctor said his hips look like a 10 year old hip and would need surgery ASAP or will have a challenging life early on and lifetime. It was a shock to hear since he’s just a puppy. I contacted the warranty company to see if he they would look at my case and help me with any of the cost . They asked me to send in the purchase order and agreement and all his Doctor visits , X-rays and all his vaccinations. We went back and forth for weeks. They even told me to go to their hospital they use and we did all they ask for. I was happy they were even considering my case. They even asked me to get an estimate for the surgery which is a wrong procedure the warranty company needs to get that even though they asked me to get it and After all that back and forth I received an email stating how much the surgery would be and they they are sorry that they can’t help me because it’s has been over the year mark. Why did they even look at my case to begin with. They gave me a sense of hope that they were willing to work with me with the cost of both his hips. It’s very sad to know your puppy has such a disability early on in his life. This company should be more responsible in testing the puppies they use to breed . My advice to anyone who wants to purchase a puppy invest in X-rays early on and invest in testing early on. I will not tell people to go to Forever Love Puppies. They didn’t honor the warranty and gave me a sense of false hope after all the going back and forth. They should’ve told me from the beginning we can’t help you. It was exactly a year to the day on the paperwork . Very disappointing. Never Again will I purchase from...
Read moreOn February 8th, I purchased a mini poodle from the Lauderdale Lakes location as a gift for my daughter. Sadly, our excitement quickly turned into concern when our puppy began sneezing and showing signs of breathing issues just days after bringing him home.
We visited the store’s recommended vet Due to the warranty. After purchase, those exams, tell you nothing about your dog. It’s a very surface level exam. They’re essentially putting your dog on a table, listening to his heart checking its temperature doing a fecal exam looking at the current immunization paper that your pet has and that is it. Wanting to be sure, we sought a second, and third opinion and paid out of pocket for more thorough care. Despite ongoing vet visits and trying everything we could at home, his symptoms have continued. To the point where he’s needing antibiotics.
We’ve reached out to the store multiple times for help, but responses have been minimal or generic. This experience has been emotionally and financially draining. It’s very sad to purchase a puppy 2 1/2 months ago and the puppy has been sick since the time we took the puppy home, we initially didn’t recognize that the breathing in the sneezing were related, but quickly realize something was off with the pet due to the way that he was breathing. When I purchased the puppy, they gave me a bill from the Florida agriculture department, stating that the dog had a clean bill of health. I’ve already been to four veterinarians you could imagine the financial strain we’re going through on a dog that we already paid so much money for.
Update: I now found out that my dog has Lyme disease. Per the veterinarian he must’ve contacted it at some point and forever love puppies knowingly knew that they sold a dog that has Lyme...
