I ended up going somewhere else to purchased. I was there twice, the purchase was my first weapon. I had many questions, and was up front about that from the beginning. The first visit, the sales person was ok. The second visit, he was misogynistic and more interested in making a sale than answering any questions. I ended up walking out and giving my money to a competitor, and will continue to do so.

Edit to provide response from LA Armory: First, I never said or insinuated that I had no plans to purchase a gun from you. As a matter of fact, the second visit was the visit where I was going to purchase. Second, The "Dry - Fire" incident, I did once, and instead of explaining to me that it damages the firearm, the sales person just said, "don't do that". Third, the first visit, the sales person stated reasons why a revolver would be better, such as revolvers do not jam. During the second visit, the only reason he gave for a revolver being better than a semi-automatic was that, "women are less likely to practice". Very simple review and he two salesmen I spoke with were very nice no problem there as a matter of fact Dan probably has the best inventory around. However his pricing is pretty far off from others but he had the gun I was looking for so I stopped by and tried to do some trading with him let me say before anyone thinks I’m being harsh I get it Dan has to make money but I took a Ruger sr1911 stainless brand new in the box in there and he had the nerve to offer 360.00 for it on trade in on a gun that was nearly 1,000.00and right there behind the counter same gun he was offering me 360 bucks for he wanted almost 1,100.00 bucks for it. Over the last 25 years I’ve shopped at dans but no more I will make the drive somewhere else I suggest more people make that drive as well because if enough did he would maybe appreciate his local...

This Place is great!!!The staff is awesome!!! We dealt with Phillip, and Daniel helped us too. We are new to owning a gun. Told them what we were looking for and They took the time to answer all our questions. Explained the laws to us. Even included our daughter in the conversations about the guns. There was no pressure whatsoever. We Felt relaxed the whole time. They stayed almost an hr after closing to help us. They didn't try to up-sell us on anything. They talked decent of their competition. They will be the only ones we deal with if we need anything else. If you go, ask for Phillip or Daniel.

On a side note.. They are right next door to some of the best BBQ around. Definitely need to try...
