I went into the store to order blinds. I wanted to go with a company that would measure and install them, so if anything went wrong, it wouldn’t be a hassle or costly to fix them. I sat with the employee for a half hour to put my order into the system and then was told I had to wait for someone to call and schedule the measurements. So, I got a phone call, had the person come a few days later, and then had to go back to the store with the measurements. I get ready to place the order at the store with the measurements, but my entire order had been messed up, and we had to spend another 30+ minutes re-doing the entire order. About two weeks later, my blinds came. Three days before the blinds were supposed to come, on a Saturday night around 9pm, I get a phone call, which I couldn’t answer, letting me know the blinds would be here in a few days and they would like to schedule a time for someone to come and install them. Since I didn’t answer, they left a voicemail that they would call again in a day or two. Five days later, I called them saying I was waiting to get a call back, but never did. The manager apologized and told me someone should contact me in the next four days. On the evening of the fourth day, I called the store again saying I was never contacted. The manager apologized again and said he was unsure why no one contacted me and he would push this up to his manager and she would call me the next day. On the evening of the next day, I called the store because I never heard from the manager. It had officially been over a week that the blinds had been delivered. She told me all she could do was send an email to the third vendor company to ask them to reach out. Again, I was never contacted. Two weeks later, I finally found someone else to come in and install the blinds. One of the blinds was missing a wand (to open and close them) and one was defective and wouldn’t go all the way down to the window sill. Now, I have to wait for another blind to come in to take down the defective one and re-install the new one and then bring the defective one back to the store. To say that I will never be shopping at JC Penney again is an...
Read moreI am an OUTRAGED customer. I made an appointment to have my hair ombré. I'm naturally brunette, but my hair was blonde. My roots were starting to show, and to make maintenance less demanding I decided to do ombré. I was told I would be taken care of by the master colorist. When I arrived I was told she was running ten minutes behind. When I came back, I was left sitting there for an additional five minutes. I was under a slight time restraint but I figured this shouldn't take too long. When I sat in the chair she went over everything with me. I kept stressing how I wanted my hair, even showing her a picture. She told me I would walk out of the salon completely satisfied.
This woman took her sweet time working with me, spending over an hour to color my hair. She would disappear at times and leave me sitting there. When she washed my hair she immediately told me it was darker then she intended. When I sat in the chair I had to do everything to fight back tears. My hair was absolutely destroyed. The blonde was barely blonde because the brown had bled into it. There were blonde spots on the top of my head and it was streaky and completely unfinished. The brown was so dark that it looked like my hair was dirty. It took over 3 hours to do and cost $100. She didn't even finish blow drying my hair and asked me to come back so she could "fix" it.
I am two seconds away from demanding my money back. I could not be more furious with the service and quality of my hair. I had to spend $300 to have my hair fixed at a PROFESSIONAL salon. Not to mention lost all of the blonde and 6 inches due to damage. JCPenny salon is an absolute joke and I will NEVER...
Read moreI went to the salon and was very angry and disappointed with the service. I had been there two times before and the service was fine. However, one my third visit my stylist kept me waiting for 30 minutes while she laughed and joked with one of her friends in her chair while she wrapped her hair to put her under the dryer.
When she finally motioned for me to come to her chair, I mentioned that she was 30 minutes late. All that she said was, "Oh." She didn't apologize, nothing. So when I sat down in her chair, I mentioned it again. Instead of a simple apology (which is all that I wanted) she said, "If you are in a rush, do you want to reschedule your appointment?" When I got angry and decideded to leave we got into an arguement. At that time she lied and mentioned that she "apologized" in order to save face in front of other clients in the store. Due to time restraints (and the stylist attempts to smooth things over) I stayed. However, I was infuriated again when she put me under the dryer and I overheard a very ghetto and unprofessional stylist by the name of Kimmie talking about me and calling me names to my stylist. Needless to say, I will...
