Gregorys Coffee — Restaurant in Lawrence Township

I’ve come to this Gregory’s location many times. Lately it’s been lacking that bit that makes it hit. Employees seem annoyed sometimes when you come in and tonight I experienced just that. We got the gingerbread latte, which was okay nothing to rave about, and a regular large hot coffee with cream. The coffee was watered down and made me wish I just got a nice trusty cup of Dunkin’ Donuts. I wasn’t asked how much cream I wanted and ended up with barely any basically just black. I would have asked for more but the staff working didn’t even look at us or say goodbye. Just get Dunkin’ or Starbucks unless you want to try a specialty drink but beware we have had many instances where a drink we got one time, which was very tasty, had been completely different the next time we...

Coming to the mall I was expecting to see Starbucks, realizing it had been replaced by a "better" coffee shop I was willing to give it a try. Walking in was a bit scary looking as it seemed dim and the walls reminded me of sad college dorm. Some things added to the wall to make it seem "trendy" which in fact just sucked the excitement out of me. The baristas behind the bar seemed uninterested to be there in the first place. Ordered a simple iced coffee no sugar just milk and a just a black coffee. Both drinks tasted watered down. I'm a big coffee fan and the taste of it wasn't what I expected. It was flavorless. Ordered a chocolate croissant and was okay but not something I'd order again. Other places in the area...

First off, I'm not sure how this place can survive when Starbucks couldn't make it work...in a dying mall.

Anyway, my issues are this. Some staff and truly nice. But, at the same time clueless about their products. Other staff are not nice and clueless.

I order iced tea frequently, and it is never consistent. It's either too strong, or it is massively watered down.

They have items to sell that aren't on the menu, so you have to ask and figure out what is available.

Anyway, if you are going to do business in a dying mall...better have your act together on all levels, product + service.

I will not be going back. If I need something to sip on, I'll just get something at the convenience stand set up in...
