This is THE place to shop for an ebike. They have a large variety of different brands and models at all price points - more than any other shop in the area. I got great service in picking out a bike and through a test ride, learned a lot about hub motors versus mid-drive and how they feel completely different. Russ and Sharon were patient, friendly, informative and I felt no pressure for a sale. Instead, they wanted to make sure I got the right bike for me.
I came out with a bike that was NOT one of the 3 I had researched and thought I'd buy. I found out I did not like them at all and instead I came out with a Gazelle Medeo City T-9 that rides as smoothly as a traditional bike. It has just the right pedal assist to get up the big half-mile hill that separates my house from a long safe bike path without knee pain. It made a world of difference to test-ride different bikes - something you can't get from reading reviews and descriptions online, ordering a bike to be shipped to you or going to a shop that only sells their brand(s). If I had ordered online like I started to do, I would have been SO unhappy with one of the 3 I was originally deciding between.
And, the fact that their profits go to benefit the Trenton Boy's and Girl's club is just icing on the cake. They are passionate about supporting the program and in one purchase I got a quality electric bike supported by top notch service and make a significant contribution to the Club.
Drive the extra miles (like I did) to get to this shop...
Read moreI had a whirlwind, excellent experience with Princeton eBikes this week. I wasn't sure I wanted an eBike but was curious and thought it would help with an upcoming extended road trip vacation, as well as help me keep up with my wife who is very fast on her regular bike, while I enjoy a more leisurely pace. I made an appointment with Theresa on a Wednesday (Princeton eBikes advertises they are only open on Saturdays plus by appointment, but it seems there is someone there daily). Theresa patiently answered my endless questions and gave me an educational introduction to eBikes. I spent about 2 hours in the store and tested 5 different bikes in the parking lot. I instantly knew I wanted one and knew which one would be ideal as well. Theresa met me back at the store the following day and I was able to pick up my selection, which was already assembled. I am beyond thrilled with my eBike, it enabled me to complete a 27 mile trip today (with 70% battery remaining), keep pace with my wife and not be totally exhausted (despite getting a good workout). Princeton eBikes donates a large portion of each sale to the Boys and Girls Club of Trenton and the primaries all work on a volunteer basis so they are really giving back to the community. I highly recommend you check out Princeton eBikes which is located in the Lawrence Shopping Center in...
Read moreI recently purchased my first ebike, and I chose to go to Princeton E-bikes. First I would like to thank Theresa for her help answering all my questions. She answered all emails and calls promptly and didn’t try to sell me on anything. She simply answered all my questions and addressed any concerns I had, which was appreciated and made the whole process so easy. Second, I chose Princeton E-bikes because they have an awesome partnership with the Boys and Girls club in Mercer County. They donate any proceeds of the bike sales directly to the club. In my opinion, it’s a win/win for the customers and the community. I drove all the way from Cherry Hill which might seem a little out of the way for some considering I could have bought the bike from a shop a lot closer. Theresa made the experience so easy that I didn’t mind driving all that way to give their shop my business. I highly recommend Princeton E-bikes if you are looking to buy an e-bike. You will be helping a great cause and you will get excellent customer service and the right bike that fits your needs. I will be making a second purchase in the...
