Absolutely appalling experience – avoid at all costs!
I had the misfortune of visiting this so-called Indian bazaar recently, and what unfolded was not just an example of gross negligence, but a complete absence of basic human decency.
While trying to pour hot tea, the flimsy, cheap-quality cup they provided collapsed in my hand, spilling scalding liquid all over me. I suffered a painful burn – and if that weren’t horrific enough, not a single staff member offered any help. To make matters worse – I am 9 months pregnant. You would think that would at least compel a basic level of compassion, but instead, I was treated like a nuisance. Not one person checked if I was okay. I had to leave the bazaar in pain, furious, and humiliated.
This place is not just poorly managed with poor quality vegetables – it’s unsafe. If you care about your health, dignity, or even the slightest bit of customer service, do yourself a favor and stay far away. This experience was traumatic and dangerous, and their blatant disregard for safety and empathy is...
Read moreBought egg plants today and all rotten from inside. When I called a lady picked up and said they don't accept return on vegetables and they can't do anything. I explained I just bought it an hr ago and when I came home and cut it I saw this. Still she kept on arguing that they don't take returns and I told them their whole lot of eggplants are rotten and they can't sell rotten stuff to customers. She passed my msg to another lady overthere and I can hear in Hindi she was mocking me thinking I don't understand Hindi lol. I understand Hindi completely and when I started speaking in Hindi then the lady on the phone said " Mam can speak in hindi too". I always buy Indian groceries from Star but I believe when your customers come up with a legitimate complain the staff overthere should look into the matter sincerely and not mock the customers. Anyways here is the pic for u...
