Exceptional service and darn good coffee! The missus' old skis deaminated on a run at Perfect North Slopes and, shortly after, found themselves in the trash. We talked with the pro shop who suggested we try some demo units to determine what to buy next. Speaking with the team after trying several pairs, they recommended visiting Ski Train Depot. We met with Krisy and John at Ski Train Depot. Both took extra time to listen and learn her skiing preferences. John pulled out a pair of skis and recommended she demo them on the slopes. We returned to Perfect North, and she gave them a go. Even from a distance, the smile and confidence beamed on her face. I knew we had found the right next skis for her. We returned and bought them for roughly 75% off a new pair with bindings. I highly recommend the shop! The team is very knowledgeable but not arrogant. They listen and suggest what's best for you, not them. Also, if you're looking for a deal on equipment and apparel, they have a selection of overstock, demo, and consignment gear at phenomenal prices. Ski Train Depot gets my highest...
Read moreI was fitted for ski boots here and they fitted me and sold me the wrong size. Go to the mountains to get fitted where they know what they are talking about! I am in between a 23.5 and 24.5, however, they had very few to no 24.5s so they told me a 25.5 would work for me and sold me that. Later I realized my boots were way too big and unsafe for me to ski in. I trusted them to be experts and when they said these boots would work for me, I bought them. Later finding out they are blatantly the wrong size. They should have been honest and said sorry we don’t have any boots in your size, go somewhere else but they wanted to make a sale so they convinced me that that size would work when it wouldn’t and I wasted a lot of money I could have put towards boots that fit. Nice place but don’t trust what they say about boots. Go to a real mountain and find an expert...
Read moreMy experience started with opening the front door for my daughter and accidentally letting a dog run outside. Worker behind counter seemed aggravated at me. I was in there for an hour and never did get any help. Workers seemed overwhelmed and half aggravated that they had so many customers. I get being busy, I’ve been in customer service all my life, but to never even be greeted in an hour is ridiculous. Organization was terrible with just asking customers who was next? Multiple people raising their hand because everyone has been there so long. Walked out and went straight to Perfects loft shop and bought a pair of boots, skis and bindings and was out of there in 15 minutes. I’ll never waste my time with the ski...
