I would give it 0 stars if possible. My wife and I checked in a little after 7:30pm. They say that this is a pet friendly hotel but they made a comment about our service dog. So obviously they aren’t very pet friendly. There was very little toilet paper. There was a red stain on the wall where the toilet paper is at, not sure if it is dried blood or what. There was only one bath towel for 2 people. No cups for the coffee or water. The mirror is all spotted up where people had brushed their teeth. The mirror outside the bathroom was dirty. The floor looked like it was never vacuumed. The cover on the remote to hold on the batteries is broken. The TV at 1st wouldn’t even come on. Called front desk and told her about the toilet paper and red stain. She brought us the toilet paper and all she could say about the red stain was yeah I see that. Then she said that they were really busy the night before. She got the tv to work. The tv screen is very small. And they have no HD channels. So whatever we watched the picture on the screen was even smaller since there were no HD channels available. Check out is at 11am. We checked in after 7:30pm. That gave them 8.5 hours to get this room cleaned properly. To pay $168 for one night at this hotel and to have to call to get toilet paper and everything else is ridiculous. We went to get their breakfast at 6:30am (breakfast is served 6-9am) and by time we got back to our room the breakfast was cold. The eggs were powered eggs and didn’t taste good. We ended up having to go get breakfast somewhere else. We took pictures of everything and showed them to Trina as we were checking out. She took out names and number and said that she’d have the GM, Ron, call us as soon as he gets in. She apologized and explained how busy they were but also said that there was no reason for our room to be like that. We couldn’t switch room because the hotel was booked solid with another tour group there that night. This is by far the worst hotel we have stayed in. Anywhere else would have been better than here. The GM Ron called us Sunday morning saying he spoke to Trina and she explained to him that she saw all the pictures and he apologized for our horrible experience. That he was going to investigate it all and that since we booked our stay through Priceline that we would need to contact them to get a full refund. He also said that he’d call us back at 1pm. He never called. I called Priceline and they called the hotel and Ron was gone. I also called the hotel and was told Ron was gone for the day and would be back at 3pm on Monday and that he’d call me Monday as soon as he gets there. So I called the corporate customer care service number and filed a report. Ron never called me on Monday so at 4pm I called him. He was rude, hateful and yelling at me. He said since I called the corporate number it takes everything out of his hands and now I need to deal with them. He said he sent me an email, but he never did. Just like he never called me back as he promised that he would. Then he hung up on me. I was mad and called back and told him that was no way to treat a customer. He said he didn’t care and that he was done talking to me. I asked him for the district managers name and number or at least someone above him and he said he’s the only one and I need to call the corporate number. I said that I will and he hung up on me for the 2nd time. I called the corporate customer care line and was told that Ron turned in a report denying our claim saying that there was nothing wrong with the room and that we were lying. And that we never asked to be switched to an another room. There were no other rooms available and we have pictures of everything so how are we the ones lying? For a GM to lie, yell and hang up on his customers is ridiculous. For him to treat his customers in that kind of manner is ridiculous. He’s the face of that hotel since he’s the GM. And look how he treats customers....
Read moreThe ladies in today ask for really nice and helpful But the manager said because my fridge raiders not working very well. I asked if I could get it fixed or get a new one. And they said I would have to switch rooms. They couldn't move or refrigerator to my room while I'm here for a month. So I brought like three carts of stuff So that's a little disappointing that they couldn't remove one refrigerator They would rather me spend an hour or so. Try to pack everything up and then I'm back everything again. I work 12 hour days. There's not new time in the day for that kind of nonsense Update the first week. I paid for my room and took it on my credit card. And it said it was pending well when I went to go. Pay for my room after the week was up the pending. Was there anymore that charged one there a charge? It was like almost $200. More was on my card and they charged me at $250. Smoking fee. They said there was an email sent or something. I said I wanna copy of the email. Send it to me. So then this week I go to pay. And they say I owed $207 for tonight's when it's $70 and I. And they said it was because I didn't pay in full when I paid. Which is totally b*, because do you know any hotel? That's gonna be like OK. You can just pay us part of the money. And then pay us arrest next week. That is not gonna happen. They're not gonna let you owe money. So this place is a rip off They will look at anyway to rip you off. I would be moving my stuff out. But I just got through working 12 hours and have to work again tonight. Keep your receipts if you are desperate and have to stay in this s* hole. Not to mention my room hasn't been clean my whole stay (they said I must've had do not disturb sign up I told them I never still next couple days and no maid service had to catch them in the hall and get towels ect never changed sheets I'd set trash out for them to empty then I would get can when I would get up for work so if you do have to stay here, make sure you get a receipt that said you're paid in full so they don't try to add money and add days on in charge of credit card without permission.
Update Well once again the scam is on. I just looked at my bank account and after I have 2 receipts. That show that there's a 0 balance. They charge me another $25 on my credit card. I called them and they said it was because I had a stained linen I had some burn spots From work and there was a couple blood spots. I guess on the sheets smaller Then I dime I remember saying them. It was tiny little spots and they said they charged me $25 for that. I ask why they charge me for washing my sheets and bleach. Which would clearly take the stain out. Which let me remind you that they never cleaned my room. The whole time I was there. I was there a week and a half and they never cleaned my room once They said I must have had A. Do Not Disturb sign on my door which I did not. I couldn't even find my Do Not Disturb sign. I end up getting one from the front desk when they charged me a $250 smoking fee. Which day would show me? No evidence of they thought the resase is in the sink. And it was actually my charcoal toothpaste that I used that lee's a black residue in the sink and I wrenched it out a little but I didn't completely rent it out because I thought the maid might finally decide to clean my room so then I ask for I Do Not Disturb Sin for my room. Because I couldn't find Mine. And I put it on my door because I didn't want them coming in and saying some stupid s* again. I'm trying to charge me extra money not to mention the last week. I stayed there. I paid in full the lady that I give the money to even said I paid in full but they still charged me...
Read moreLocation is 25 minutes during business hours from Creation Museum, it’s saving grace. Beds are full size, they say double to sound bigger but tiny beds only a few inches wider than twins. Beds are covered in overly soft foam several inches resulting in the worst back and hip pain in my life. Been here a week and no fresh bedding the whole stay. Asked for a late checkout, still hours before check in and they said they aren’t capable of accommodating late checkouts. Toilets frequently back up and you as a guest are required to plunge them yourself. Breakfast is a waffle iron, a pump bottle of syrup, powdered eggs and 2 kinds of pig sausage. All luke warm. The front desk will accommodate you with towels or a plunger when needed but you will sleep on dirty bedding and every 3 days they will show up to take your trash and throw your same bedding over your beds. I don’t want to rag on this place but there’s nothing a real close drive, their highway is at stand still everyday from 08:00 or earlier through 18:00 or maybe later. Because how uncomfortable the tiny beds are my kids had trouble sleeping so we requested a late checkout, nope it’s what you get for not paying for another night here. The door closed, the water was hot except today when it kept going cold requiring me to adjust the temp again and again about 5 times during a 15 minute shower. I expect a lot more for what they think these rooms are worth. I get a lot more year after year from some of our favorite hotels for $35 a night. No hotel at any price has ever denied me a late checkout as long as I agree to be out an hour before check in. No other hotel has said they don’t have a maintenance personnel of any kind but you can plunge it yourself. I hope this helps these very naive people get it, and start offering some kind of service and accommodation. If you rent here you’ll be 25 minutes from the bridge a mile away. You would be able to get to anything in Kentucky faster by staying in less expensive rooms and probably having less headaches from the crappy rooms and better prices or at least equal pricing. Seriously I haven’t hurt so much on any trip in my life, but I’m reasonable and wasn’t going to review but no late checkout and I was asking to be out 2 hours before checkin is a slap in the face. Don’t reply you meant to be ugly and you had authority to accommodate that but you think you earn the $60 and up per night while being close to nothing, in time during operating hours at least. Real estate is about location and you are not in a prime location. The pool was cloudy when we got here and that was the e only day it was warm enough to attempt getting in the pool as others have reviewed the indoor pool is in an unheated room and the pool may or may not be heated depending on how far in advance you request them to use the heater. No hard feelings but consumers should beware this place can ruin your trip. Unless you’re traveling alone, hate to sleep, love stirring up back and neck pain, and are visiting family who might let you crash in their couch for a few nights when you see how bad it is, then maybe it’ll be ok. When driving down the highway and need a nap to fight off the white line fever, sure. This place earned a place on my very short list of...
