Kennett Truck Stop — Local services in Lawrenceburg Township

I gave it 3 stars because I always find a place to park my rig. I've never eaten here before today though. I ordered the Big Howie burger. Named after Howard Kenneth, the man who opened this company back in the day. The big howie burger is a joke. Its says it comes with 2 patties, well, I got one. The smallest patty I have ever seen. Theres nothing "Big" about it. Doused in mayonnaise. I had to go back in & complain to get my extra burger it was suppose to come with. The cook comes out like he doesn't believe me, and picks through my burger with his bare hands. Before then going back & cooking me 1 single party. Didnt replace the food he ran his fingers through. I want to give this place 5 stars, but...

This is an old school truck stop. There aren't many left, because they can't compete with the soulless corporate giants. For just surviving they deserve a good rating. However, the bathroom is just okay. No problems, but nothing special either. It's clean enough, but not sparkling. The parking lot is a good place to bust an airbag. It needs a lot of work. I can't imagine what it is like after a heavy rain.

The restaurant is the best thing about the place. An old style diner with friendly service and reasonable prices. However, the 5 way chili didn't agree with me and I can usually eat anything. If not for that, I would give it a better rating. I still recommend it, I just don't...

Well, they're not that good at service in the restaurant. If you're a driver and you've got 30 minute break here, call ahead for food. I met my mother here for a 30 and it was an average of 10 minutes for menu, 10 minutes coffee, 20 minutes for food, ordered milk had to ask 2x for it and had to yell across the diner for my bill. No atte tion is paid to customers. Finally, no showers, smelly restroom, out of touch manager and could use an opportunity for change. You can't take a gas station with a restaurant, add some diesel pumps and some parking and it's a truck stop. You should cater to truckers. We need showers and fast service.
