Terrible customer service! My provider called in a medication with a refill on 9/19. I called on 10/19 to refill my medication and was told they don't have a refill. Called my provider and they report they sent in the refill. Called walgreens back when I could get through to someone finally. I got a rude pharmacy tech that barely listened and did not help and sent me pharmacist who again was rude and told me to stop making assumptions about my medication. WHEN I AM THE ONE WHO CALLED AND SPOKE TO SOMEONE. She then tells me that my medication has been closed for some unknown reason BUT I did have a refill. She told me that she would have to order it and it would take 4 days to get it. I would be out of a much needed medication for 3 days after dealing with the whole situation for 2 days. I told the lady that I am the one suffering because I'll be out of my medications. She told me that maybe I should go to a 24hr pharmacy instead of going to the one closest to my house. I am one that tries to use store coupons and reads their advertisement. I was sent an email for $7 Cash Rewards if you purchased $20. At the register, a Walgreens Cash Rewards certificate does print out for $7 but you have to use it to "Spend $25 more on your next in store purchase." On the Walgreens.com website, all they say is you will get the Cash Rewards and will need to spend it on a future purchase. Nothing was said that the future purchase has to be as specific amount directed by Walgreens. In my opinion, this is a deceptive marketing practice. Also the next day I put away the items I had purchased and realized that I was overcharged for two items and did not receive two items. The checkout registers had a lot of drama because there was a line, one cashier, and customers asking the cashier questions as she was trying to check people out. She cuts you off while your talking threatens to always put u on hold before you even say two lines to her. Example : she ask for dob, u tell her, and before you can answer her next question she is saying hello every second. As soon as you ask her to slow down politely she gets ruder and says I'll just put u on hold and help everyone else.
