Chadwicks Produce LLC — Local services in Lawrenceville

My husband and I bought a bushel of green beans from Chadwicks produce on Friday 7/30/21 we went to process them on Sunday August 1st and they had mold all throughout the crate! The smell was HORRIBLE. I contacted Gary's father Sunday and was told to call Gary and take them back and he would give me a full refund!!!We both contacted Gary and his father today only to be told that we were at fault! We bought them late Friday evening. When we got home we took the $30 crate of green beans inside! They never once told us to put them in the fridge, they never showed us the product at the store. He lied to his father about everything!! We will NOT be going back to this establishment!!

I went to this establishment today AND HAD A VERY DISRESPECTFUL INCOUNTER WITH ONE OF THE WORKERS AT THE STORE. THE ONLY PERSON WHO GREETED ME PROFESSIONALLY WAS THE CASHIER!!! I WAS LOOKING AT THE Strawberries AND NOTICE THEY DIDNT LOOK SO GREAT SO I WANTED TO LOOK AT ANOTHER PACK OF STRAWBERRIES WHEN I ACCIDENTALLY KNOCKED OVER THE TOMATOES AND ONE OF THE ASSOCIATES THERE WAS VERY RUDE AND NASTY TO ME. AND TRIED TO TELL ME IF I GET OFF THE PHONE MAYBE I CAN SHOP AND IF I KNOCK SOMETHING ELSE OVER IM PAYING FOR IT!!!!! WOW!!! IS THAT HOW YOU TREAT NEW CUSTOMERS????? EVEN HELPED THEM PICK THEM UP AND WAS GOING TO TELL HIM I WILL PAY FOR IT BUT I NOTICED HE WENT TO WASH THEM OFF AND PUT THEM RIGHT BACK ON THE SHELF!!!! So what am I paying for???? I have visited Chadwick’s Produce more times than I can count and I have always felt very unwelcome and like tension freezes the air. Today, I stopped by for my regular purchase of blueberries, strawberries and squash but I added a watermelon to the mix (for my girlfriend). I did not see that the watermelon had the word “yellow” written on it indicating that the melon is yellow inside. When I brought my items to the counter the old white man brought to my attention that the watermelon was yellow so I walked away to swap them out. When I came back to the counter the (I’m assuming) owners where talking badly about me and the younger (I use the term younger loosely) man got up and walked away quickly. Yes.
