Absolutely hate the new remodel they had. I went in to order and they had removed the menu. They now only have 2 displays that only show the current box and pictures of 3-4 of their other items. There wasn't anyone at the counter to take orders, a kiosk directly in front of the cash register, and 3 more kiosks behind a small wall that I didn't even notice until leaving. There was an employee who did hand a cup to my brother who ordered ahead of me, but I didn't even get a chance to touch the kiosk before he asked if I had ordered.
I absolutely hate the touch screen kiosks. I always have issues them registering my touches and today was no exception. I have to continuously tap on options to proceed or make any selections. I'm also not a fan of the layout on the kiosk. The images for the items are too small and hard to tell what comes in each combo. If i want to see what all comes on something, I have to select something and modify it to see what is actually on it. I would order at the front counter, but there is no menu now. There is always something new every time I go to a taco bell. Was a little surprised to see a whole nutritional info label for each item, but you have to scroll all the way to the bottom of the item to see it.
All of the walls except one small portion are white with very few picture hung up. The chairs and tables are made out of metal and wood. The chairs are heavy and uncomfortable. The temperature was way too cold. I was there for about half and hour and the AC was on the whole time. It felt like it was 60 in there. Sure it's nice at first (it's currently summer), but after like 5 minutes it's too much. I'm not carrying around a sweater or coat in summer with the off chance the place I eat at is too cold.
The food was just ok. It came out just the way I had ordered. No issues there. It's just so expensive now. There are plenty of places where I can get better tasting food for less. But I came mostly out of curiosity of how the remodel turned out. But now I know and won't ever come back. And with the way prices are going, I'll probably never have any more taco bell ever again, which is for the...
Read moreWe eat at Taco Bellâs a lot and this is probably the worst one we have experienced. It is near our house and we go all the time, but unfortunately weâve consistently dealt with really long and slow drive thru service. Pandemic only has made it worse. We recently ordered on the Taco Bell app, and we chose the option to pick up our food inside the restaurant. When we arrived the doors were locked and we couldnât get inside. There was no sign on the door indicating what was going on. I called and spoke with someone at the restaurant who indicated that we needed to wait in the drive thru to pick it up. This defeated the purpose of us even doing the order thru the app, which is to avoid the drive thru. It is really why anyone would have any reason to order from the app. So we had to wait in the drive thru to pick it up. But from the time we ordered on the app and our food being ready was 40 minutes, and then we waited another 10 minutes in the drive thru to pick it up. In addition the person I spoke with on the phone was very rude and offered excuses that it was all because of the pandemic. I know that the pandemic has messed things up. But if you donât have enough people to work to run a restaurant in a decent manner, then you donât need to be open that day. Plain and simple. It also shouldnât prohibit you was putting a sign on the door that says âonline orders proceed to drive thruâ. I was also trying to explain to him aspects about ordering from the app that he clearly didnât understand. It is terrible overall and we are going to find another Taco...
Read moreHaving been to this location multiple times in the past and experienced both extremely slow service and good service with good professionalism, I'm going to call the visit tonight as the rudest must customer unfriendly I've had. Saturday 11 November 8:10 pm. There was no line and we sat for a couple of minutes waiting on the empty drive through before a man spoke to take our order. When things get slow, it's easy to do work that waits for slow times, so understandable although not great sitting there. We started to state the order and the response was "I don't know what in the world you're talking about." My spouse included the word "baja" while ordering a chalupa which Taco Bell used to offer a while ago in the past. The person continued to be extremely rude and obnoxious. At the window a person took our payment and told us immediately to go park and wait for our order to be brought out to us. Still no line behind us, but there was a car parked still waiting and one that parked while we were still waiting. This is a tactic used in fast food to cheat on the subway times to make them look good when the inside team isn't making orders efficiently enough. It enables people to be slow and create fake stats.
If this was our initial experience of a Taco Bell, we would never be back. Even having a KFC option at that location couldn't get a regular stream of customers. This place is almost always slow, and now they're simply trying to hide the accurate time stats and have someone on speaker who shouldn't be interacting...
