I went to FMF today for them to inspect and fix some pins, detents, and a stock on an AR10 that I had installed improperly. The prices were super reasonable. Corey and the other service staff, not only fixed the problems promptly, but gave me lessons on how to install certain parts, provided suggestions for other helpful products (which they did not sell), and offered helpful guidance about the operation of various suppressors. I would have been in and out of the store in 5 minutes or less for the repairs, but I didn't want to break free from the pleasant and captivating 30 minute conversation we had. Read moreI don't usually leave negative reviews, but I'm having a hard time understanding how I brought my gun in for removal of a stripped screw in my optic, you kept my gun for 2 full weeks, charged me $48 and DIDN'T remove the screw. Told me to send it to Sig, and they had it back to me in 1 week, repaired at no cost. With extra screws. If they have ten years of experience in gunsmithing, how come they don't know how to put a simple surefire spacer first and time with shims? They didn't even insert a surefire spacer and just used the thin shims. The reason to use the spacer first is that it's not a flat surface, and shims can make creases, which can eventually damage and cause...
