Donut Palace — Restaurant in Lawrenceville

Products were fresh and soft. I liked the taste of the glaze donut. It was slightly creamy but very soft.

I didn't really enjoy the chocolate covered despite its softness and freshness. The donut was dry and the chocolate was sort of bitter. The lemon hardly had filling so it was like eating a thick glaze. I mean there was very little filling.

The glaze cake was dry. It did have a unique cream flavor though. It was the only donut that was not fresh. Oh, and all of the donuts are very small.

Lastly, I planned to eat inside but when I arrived, I tried making small talk with the cashier, telling him that I found the place online and took an eight mile ride to check them out to which he didn't respond. I then looked around at the place and decided to take my donuts to go so I could go purchase a beverage elsewhere.

Overall, I would rate this place an average three. It certainly was not worth my ride over there. But at least the weather was a beautiful 72 degrees with...

A true hidden gem. I've driven past here each morning on my way to work for the past 5 months. And while I've thought about going in. I never did until reading the good reviews on here this morning. They do not lie. The sour cream donuts are rich, yet delicate, not at all dense. The yeast rise donuts are light and airy, the perfect balance of sweet to bread, I can easily imagine that if I'd gotten them while they were still hot that it would have simply dissolved somewhere between my mouth and stomach. For real though the only reason this place has a few non 5stars is bc people don’t speak Korean or they just rarely give out 5stars.

They have delicious yeasty doughnuts that are fresh and melt in your mouth but have a little chew (unlike KK which melts w no chew, go to both😂).

It’s truly a hidden gem. If you’re in the Durham NC area this place is almost the spitting image of “Carolina Glazed Doughnuts”
