After seeing all the pictures my friend Richard R. posted of this places, I was craving their food BAD. I'm Venezuelan, so our food choices are similar to Dominicans for sure. Rice, and beans? Yes please! My first impression when I came in is this place was it is a Bodega, literally. For us, hispanics, a bodega means a mini market, usually owned, and run by a family where you can find the essentials, but not everything you're looking for. Here you can find essential Dominican spices, candies, and more. This was kinda surprising because I was expecting a dining in restaurant, but this wasn't the case. Besides the bodega, they have a food bar on the side kind of buffet style. According to Richard R. their menu keeps changing depending on availability, but when I visited they had pork, chicken, white rice, yellow rice, noodles, plantains, yucca, veggies, and beans. I ordered roasted chicken, yellow rice, and noodles. The chicken was very dry, unfortunately, but the rice and noodles were DELI! I loved that they use a lot of olives to condiment their food. I recommend this place if you're in the area, but have in mind there isn't a lot of seats, so it might be better for take out.

I will give this place 6 stars if I could. The taste of the food is authentic. I can recognize the Dominican home cooking due to the flavors and seasoning. You can't go wrong with whatever you order. Everyone is friendly and will answer any question you have. They are open 7 days week. Monday through Saturday from 8am till 8pm and 10am till 5pm on Sundays. They sell pastries and other stuffs, I took pictures for you to review and enjoy. I am lucky to have this place close by and let me tell you it is a Gem! El lugar y la gente son super chevere y te tratan con cariño, excelente lugar!

Ordered 3 bacon egg and cheese with s/p-k/m. It smelled weird and had a chemical taste. Bacon was old and burnt. They all had only 1 piece of bacon in each sandwich. Totally different sandwich from when the restaurant first started offering them. Definitely disappointed! I called ahead to have them ready for pick up and they still wasnt done and she took so long to make. Restaurant smells bad

Ordered catering for 40 people our daughters first birthday party and we could not have been more impressed with the food and service at NYC Bodega. Maria and her team were very professional and considerate with trying to find the best options for our party without trying to oversell me. She was upfront and honest about the fluctuations of price in specific items which was appreciated. The food was prepared exactly at pickup time and very hot and packaged ready to go. The food did not need to be reheated when it reached the house which is always a plus. The quality of the food was outstanding, all of our guests really appreciated the taste and variety of flavors. Best of all, there were leftovers for our guests to take home and for us to enjoy after the party which is always an appreciated bonus. The portions of the trays were generous and each item was cooked with detailed flavor. My family from NY gave their stamp of approval and said it was exactly like the food they would get in the bodegas of NY.

Great experience and we will definitely be visiting to eat from their hot table and consider them for our catering needs...

I had the pleasure of patronizing NYC Bodega this past weekend. The establishment is clean and ALL staff are extremely friendly. The food was AMAZING and the prices reasonable. The smiles were so bright upon entering that it felt like home!!! The food tastes authentic and is exactly what we needed in the area. They will even be bringing the traditional Bacon, Egg and Cheese once the "right" rolls are located!!! My daughter and I were extremely pleased with our visit and can not wait to return!!!! The only thing missing was steak with onions but I will tell you that the stew chicken and empanadas were TOP NOTCH!! I will be trying the AUTHENTIC Sancocho sooner rather than later!! Thank you NYC Bodega and from a fellow New Yorker, welcome to Georgia!!! See you...
