I made a purchase on 11/24, Wednesday, for Switch OLED, alongside a screen protector for it. When I opened the package at home, the screen protector was cracked (picture shown). Frustrating, but things happen during shipping I'm sure. I just went back to the store today 11/28, Sunday, with my receipt and the defective product, in hopes to return it for a refund or store credit. And I was told by both associates immediately they couldn't take it, even though it was well within the 30 return day policy. They told me they couldn't do anything with it because its defective....well what am I supposed to do with it? Are you telling me I'm stuck with a damaged product you sold me less than a week ago and you basically took $15.00 from me?
So I called the 1-800 Gamestop number on my receipt and spoke to Louis. He was very confused as well, as to why they didn't provide a refund or credit. Read moreCurrent staff are the best that have ever been at this location. Logan is the most competent GameStop employee I have ever met and he is an excellent store manager. I'd say the only negative thing to watch out for is a cashier slipping an unwanted warranty on your purchase with no mention and then quickly moving to payment on the register to get it off the card reader screen in an attempt to slip it by you. I have no issue with the upsale of goods and services as occasionally they are beneficial to the customer, but not mentioning addons and having a shift in attitude when I catch it and have them removed makes for a...
