I got my problem resolved today.. Couldn't get my email receipts from the store. I have a receipt for the defective one I returned Mar 2023 and bought another one. Cooks sngle serve coffee maker with water tank. That quit on me and I went to local store and nothing they can or will do without the receipt. I was going to buy another one on sale 2 Oct. I go in before the sale and every one of them is gone. I spoke to a manager and she said they were all pulled off the shelf because they were told to pull them. It seems there is a recall and customer service asked me today if I bought the protection plan. I told him no. He said sorry without a receipt just like the local store did. He directed me to the store. I told him I had already been through this with them. Nothing will be done to replace, refund or repair the coffee maker I bought here at Lawton's JC Penney. The instruction manual has phone number for info for warranty info with JC Penney's customer service. They directed me to go to the store. That coffee makeris not worth $120.00 ever.. The store employees are helpful and courteous but they can't do anything about my defective coffee maker without my receipt. . I bought my last 3 coffee makers from JC Penney. Cooks single serve coffeemaker.with water tank. All 3. JC Penney should be able to pull up receipts for customers in the reward program. I couldn't get my email receipts from the store and warranty info customer service just told me to go back to the store. Employee and managers know I bought it from their store. Someone up there at corporate customer service should be working on this email issue. Ironically someone bought a bra with cash and I got an email receipt for someone else's purchase with my email address. I didn't give anybody my email address so someone at the store didn't verify by name or something. My receipts for my purchases wouldn't come. up. Employee and managers are nice and helpfu. Two people people resolved the pproblem and I got my refund. My thanks to...
Read moreThis review is for the salon --- I got the worst service and worst haircut of my life at the JC Penney salon by a wannabe stylist named Ashley Todd-Wallace. I asked for 3 inches to be cut off into a straight, shoulder-length bob cut and she was incapable of doing it correctly. The cut was asymmetrical with one side obviously longer than the other...and the front WAY longer than the back. My hair is naturally super curly...but she missed whole strands of hair that were "under the cape". She did NOT section my hair off and cut it carefully (like they do at Supercuts and Mastercuts and other places)....instead she just "eyeballed it" and it was horrible. In addition, I had my bangs chemically straightened and she didn't do it correctly so they were just as curly as when I went in. I had to call a manger the next week and have everything redone by ANOTHER stylist. Ashley was supposed to redo it, but she couldn't be bothered to show up on time for the appointment and, then when she did show up, she argued with me and told me basically it was my fault that the cut was screwed up since I had her doing my bangs as well as a haircut!!! I guess she is incapable of doing two things in one sitting??? Seriously though, isn't cutting hair straight the first thing they learn in school? If you can't even do that right, you might want to rethink your career. Bottom line: Don't allow Ashley to do your hair...and probably you might want to go somewhere other than JC Penney to have your hair done. I had a Gift Card I got as a present or I never would have gone there. I would have been better off using the Gift Card...
Read moreFrom the time I walked into the Salon I had an unease feeling yes I was a few minutes early and was told to walk around until my appointment time. The stylist didnt speak unless spoken too. And after 15 minutes into my perm she unrolled one rod, then turned to another stylist asking what she should do. She was told to reroll it, and put more solution on my hair. I stated it smelled stronger. Her comment is yes it is we will only leave it on for 10 more minutes. I ask is this going to burn my hair. No we can only leave it 25 minutes max. I was then ask if I had, had covid or the vaccines. I told her I have had both back in January. She then stated some of our clients have said that their problems aren't taking as well due to either having covid or having taken the vaccine. When she finished I said that is a question that really should have been asked prior to placing the solution. I was then charged not only for the perm but also a hair cut. I only agreed to a minimum trim that should have come with the perm. Needless to say I will find someone else to do my hair from now on. I am one very unhappy customer 😕 she was supposed to be a master stylist. I doubt...
