Hi all, me and my wife loved working with and buying/supporting Preloved! We have had our own booth set up there for a couple of months now, but over the last couple of weeks, we have not received any form of payment for our items that we have sold. We have reached out to numerous contacts that were provided by the company to get our two weeks worth of payments and every single contact has passed the buck to someone else, "oh I don't handle payments contact this person." "Hey we have not received our payment in two weeks. What do we need to do?" "Oh I don't handle payments. You will need to contact this person". We would love to continue doing business with Preloved but as of right now, I just want to warn ⚠️ anyone who is considering doing business. BE CAREFUL! You might not get paid. If there is anyone who can help us please reach out 🙏
(Reply to your comments back).. We sold $73.49 of our products and haven't seen any payment. We paid in full for our booth rental when we booked, so I'm not sure what you're referring to when talking about an extension? We have receipts that we paid. On our Preloved account, it shows we made $73.49, with no payment to us. This tells me that there are clearly other problems with people getting paid at this location.
We are an honest family, and would just like to be paid what is owed ❤️
(New Update).. After telling us it will take 3 weeks to get our payment this post was created and then we got our payment the next day. So I'm just a little confused by the process now.. But Thank you🙏 that was all we wanted! For anyone who has made it this far into the post Preloved is a really good company they are nice and friendly! This was our one and only complaint. We plan on continuing business...
Read moreI had a booth and sold here for a few months. After a few weeks some of my things from my booth (housewares) went missing. The manager worked with me. We couldn't figure out what happened. They had not been listed as sold, nor was I paid, but they were clearly gone. Eventually I was reimbursed some of the loss. I took a break and then a month later tried again. This time more stuff went missing, hundreds of dollars of merchandise. The manager and I were confused again. We could not figure out how some pretty large items just disappeared. As I was removing all my stuff for good, I ran into another vendor who had several booths there. We chatted and during the conversation she told me her instagram account name. When I got home I looked at her account and saw MANY items of mine that had gone missing. Items that had not been sold, but were gone from my booth. I met with the manager and showed her pictures of my items in my booth and items that were being sold through her instagram store. The manager believed me and wrote to the owners. I also wrote to the owners to contact the other vendor/and or the police. The did neither. The refused to help even though I had a lot of proof through pictures. They were all about the bottom line because this other vendor was paying their rent. The didn't reimburse me any further. The decided to stand by the thief in their store. It is shameful what they did. I would never put my trust in these owners and would never rent a booth...
Read moreThis is a family focused consignment shop. They have men's, women's, kids, and home booths of gently used items for sale. I have excitedly found some great deals as a buyer, and as a frequent online seller I liked the simplicity of their consignment setup so decided to give them a try.
It's a $25 booth rental for one week, which can be risk free if you setup on time Saturday morning, clean up on time Friday night, and set your booth to be at least 50% off by Thursday. Afterwards, 65% of sales profit are sent by venmo at the end of the week.
I think the issue (for sellers) is that 50% off requirement on Thursdays. I watched my sales total all week online, and I didn't sell anything until my booth went on discount. I had a kids booth with over $400 worth of clothes, baby supplies, and toys/games. In the end I sold 16 items. My $20 diaper bag was $10 for the buyer and I made $6.50. My cut in profits overall was small enough that I qualified for the booth rental refund; they kept all profits, and I'm out 16 items and 2 hours of work setting up/taking down my booth. With buyers knowing to expect discounts, I don't recommend selling. Unfortunately 65% of 50% off is a lot less than getting 100% of your money...
