Here is my experience and issue I faced so I purchased a Grom typhoon for my friend and a specktrum ic2 battery they only had one left in stock and that is a open box when I took it to home I noticed the battery had scuff marks and it was a used dead battery, when tried to connect it to the smart charger it doesn’t connect or detect the battery. I took the battery to the store to get a replacement or return but they denied for that and when I asked them if that is a brand new battery and the box is opened the manager for the store I don’t know her name, she told me that they get the batteries open box with seal opened from the supplier, I never purchased a battery with seal opened or never seen a battery comes open box.

Update: My friend got a call from the owner of the store later and he agreed for battery replacement but this could be avoided upfront with good knowledgeable staff, when I was told the batteries comes opened I just gave the battery I brought from them and told them they are gonna loose a customer on a 25$ battery and they were okay with that. So please train your staff to avoid such...

Got the pleasure of meeting the crew from The Hobby Shop while on Spring Break. We camped at Hidden Falls Adventure Park this past weekend outside of Marble Fallaz and lucky for us The Hobby Shop was set up at the park Saturday showing off some cool RC cars and trucks. We had recently been on the hunt for a new car for my husband but hadn't found what he was looking for in the Dallas area yet. That is until The Hobby Shop had just what he wanted!! Everyone was very helpful and knowledgeable. They spent quite a bit of time with us going over each one we showed interest in and letting our boys try one out that they had on display for their event. Once we chose the one my husband wanted he decided he would need extra batteries as he likes to have 2 sets per car. The owner went above and beyond to have another battery brought out from their shop 45 MINUETS away!! We ended up getting the one he wanted and found 2 for our boys. Friends with us also found a couple they brought home as well. Can't say enough about the fabulous customer service we received!! Thanks The Hobby Shop for enriching our lives...
